Wii U White Basic + Epic Mickey 2 $299 + Shipping EB Games

60

For those looking for a wii u in stock you can get this deal at Eb games.
Yes I'm aware you could get a $200 premium back in the day but for what's around at this time I think this is ok if you don't want to pay the extra for a premium :)

Personally I'm holding out on one day there may be a better deal with the premium but this might help someone out!

Or just wait for a better deal?

      • or that, yes

      • There hasn't been a better deal with ToysRUs and DSE cleared them out and i doubt Nintendo will drop the price to those levels when the rumoured price drop kicks in sometime this year.

Stupid Nintendo really…. the prices locally VS competitors look so unattractive.

        • It's not just local, I did a quick check of the US vendors and it's just as pricy or worse there.

        • @Merlict: Yesterday on an ebay shop, they had the super Mario 3d world premium bundle for $270 USD, I believe the target there also had them at $250 a little while ago. Don't think their normal price there is that good but they definitely have them on sale more.

        • @happychild100:

That bundle is $260 on US Ebay Shops and $300 at US target.

        • @carlitos: $250 at Target a few weeks ago, even $300 normal price doesn't seem that bad.

        • @happychild100:

These are US prices though but yeah still turns out cheaper but not quite worth the hassle.

        • Kmart & Target had them around that price too.

        • @happychild100:

$299 for the Premium bundle would be the sweet spot. Not $429.

    • Haha yes …thought I'd cover that in my post before I get all those responses :p

    Pretty reasonable price for now.

Obligatory "Omg target had it for $179 few months ago though comment here*

People only remember the price, not how impossibly difficult it was to acquire one at this price.

I walked into Chermside and there was still one sitting in the cabinet a week after the deal was posted. Couldn't believe my luck. Made a tidy $120 on it the next day.

holding out for a premium as well. good post though op!

    • There is not much point to premium now except: it's black and has 32 GB
.. the 16 extra GB of storage (over the white one) will go with one downloaded game or a few downloaded patches.

      • this is going to sound ridiculous but i only want it because it's black. i can't be the only one?

  • Not bad but since this game isnt on my list of must have games for the Wii its still a basic at $300. Need a better price on the mario kart bundle :'(

  • I thought this would've been a better deal

    • Depends if you want local warranty or not…that and you could possibly sell epic Mickey and pay a little extra to get another game of your choice

  • Decent price foe the current market.
My benchmark for overall value was the basic bundle deal back in June

Which…I nabbed at the time.(thx everybody). Like many i had a spare USB drive so the advice of the community regarding the waste that was the premium bundle was spot on.

Epic Mickey can be found at Target new for $20 range,or so bucks now…

    • I'd be cautious of the USB stick though, especially if you have game saves on it.

      • Just to clarify. 250 GB USB HDD.
Im not a hardcore gamer anymore so if the drive poops itself….meh.

        • Ah right, yer I wasn't sure if you meant a USB stick or a hard drive. Fair enough too.
