Includes 194 pieces.
Same price as the 101 piece kit from last week.
Saw plenty at Morayfield and Caboolture. Should be Australia wide.

I'm finding better value in this tool kit. 501 pieces.
506 piece - you forgot to count the 5 elastic hair ties.
-120 BULLSHIT Stuff mentioned below:
30 cables ties
5 office pin
5 hook
10 long screw
10 of yellow unknown stuff
5 of foreign object
55 small nail (HAMMER NOT INCLUDED, D'ohhh!!!. Wait… I have my Nokia)
plenty of stock at bondi junction… they also have 110 piece kits for $12 with most of the same tools and drill bit sets for $7 but quality of bits are exactly what you expect them to be
No tool chests in Townsville but got one of the $12 kits, has all the basics without putting nuts and bolts on the part count.
This is better https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/176801
why is this better?
It provides a better range of tools. The quality is also better.
The quality of the cradle for the tools inside the drawer is shocking. I returned it immediately after opening the box. The only decent thing is the chest..
- vote for the chest comment.
Some dude has these for sale on eBay for $890.99 and has sold 13 with 3 left in stock.
http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Portable-Tool-Chest-Drawer-Mechan…
The good new is that shipping is free.89 mate, seller put price high when they run out of stock, it's common practice on ebay.
even that price makes me think wtf.
Great price thanks.
Thanks, OP,
I might have a look- I currently house my tiny bit of household tools in one of my kids plastic tool boxes- lol.
Any idea the original price? Is it a "deal" as in, low mark-down?
Or is it a deal "because $24"? Don't want to spend $24 to see every bit strip out the 1st time it's used…
Cheers
Original price $49
hehehe that awkward moment when your kids have a better toolbox than you
Saw these on Sunday in Blacktown, there were about 6 left on the shelves (probably have a whole pile out the back though).
Most of these 194 "tools" are cable ties and nails.
there is stock at altona gate, i picked one up
I might pick one up foe the tool box.
Maybe get 2 one for the van the other for home. These are for little kids
If you let your kids play with actual real tools like the ones in this set (pliers, wrenches, screws, socket sets, etc) there's something wrong with you….
why? :s
Well kids have got learn to fix things sooner or later.
Saves all my Sidchrome tools going missing.Yep, At my place the young uns and their friends only get to play with my ozito stuff - drill, jigsaw, grinder, chainsaw etc.
have you actually bought one? i have open one of these or similar back half a year ago to see what was inside and found it was empty. guessing they are claiming it can fit 194 tools?
clearly says it comes with the tools.
Top two trays are empty. All the tools are in a cardboard box in the bottom drawer. Fyi 32 zip ties!!
plenty at castle towers
Here's some pictures of a quick unboxing of the product. Tools come separately in the box from the toolbox and then you have the pack the tools inside yourself.
Absolutely great quality for $24.
If you have nothing in your house, $24 to have these in the back of the cupboard is a no brainer.
I looked at both and the plastic toolbox https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/176801#comment-2484619 is way better value tool wise but this is good value for the metal box.
I would say that this Deal is great , they low price quite significantly BUT this thing is overpriced even though it already deducted to $24 . Sorry OP, but I appreciate your effort
I actually bought it and quite surprised. It's not as much as I expected it. Compared to the other tool at Kmart Tools
http://www.kmart.com.au/product/77-piece-general-tool-set/19… which include the Hammer, hacksaw blade, Cutter Plier, steel ruler, The screwdriver (light),2 unknown stuff with $25 as a normal price I would say that this deal is quite OK, not too good not too bad. The only good thing that I like about this item is the drawer, it's convenient. Other than that is just a pure Bullshit marketing technique to look "tough". 194?!?-120 BULLSHIT Stuff mentioned below:
30 cables ties
5 office pin
5 hook
10 long screw
10 of yellow unknown stuff
5 of foreign object
55 small nail (HAMMER NOT INCLUDED, D'ohhh!!!. Wait… I have my Nokia)-54 in the top drawer (see the picture)
-20 mid drawer (see the picture)lol
Can anyone tell me if the l keys(hex) keys are metric or imperial, (or neither lol). I need a 2mm and this is cheap enough.
Says metric on the holder and yes there is a 2mm
Picked up the plastic 101 piece - its actually all tools :p I feel the case quality and usefulness is better too and the included tools way more useful and better value. If you want wood working tools they have a kit for $35 that includes a cordless drill (cordless is a turnoff at this price point due to variable battery quality among cheap tools, but it could surprise you). IMO hacksaws included in these kind of kits are probably rubbish - too small to do a wide range of tasks and cheap blades (again I could be proven wrong).
Tldr: get the 101 piece plastic - unless you want wood tools.
Plenty of stock of 194 piece metal box, 101 piece plastic box, drill kit, mechanics toolkit (has a couple of different tools but overall lower value imo, costs $30) and woodworking kit at kmart indro shopping centre
Thanks OP, picked one up for storing model paint jars. Drawers are the perfect height.
9 left at Kmart Chermside.
101 piece plastic is much the best choice
4 left at Kmart Waurn Ponds at 3pm today $12 each
How many cable ties in this one? :P
