get $16 cash back
http://www.microsoft.com.au/cashback/
so it costs only $6
not as good as previous $19 offer but for people
who had to pay freight this might be better

Yes you do
Before people ask, please read this:
1) Yes Officeworks is a participating retailer
2) 40% Cashback is off Microsoft's RRP. Microsoft's RRP for this is $39.95, so you get $16 back regardless of purchase price. You pay $22 at Officeworks, and get $16 back, so it only really costs you $6.
3) It takes around 60 days to get the cashback into your nominated bank account.
4) Each person can make up to 3 claims, but a separate claim must be made for each product even if they are on the same receipt.
Good bye, off to officeworks NOW :)
@IceCreamBandit Don't you just LOVE it when you have to repeat things that have been in about a dozen other posts, & they were repeated a dozen times in those posts, simply because people can't be bothered reading things??
And yet I bet you someone will still post a question in this thread
My laptop on OS X Yosemite (10.10.1 version), the description says it is only compatible with Apple MacOS X 10.4.x - 10.6.x
Yosemite was released only months ago. The description probably matches the latest version of OS X available at time of writing.
You should be okay unless Apple decided to remove support for this specific peripheral for Yosemite which I'd say is highly unlikely.
Wouldn't hurt to try if you're interested, just return it if it's not supported
I've used this exact keyboard/mouse combo on my MacBook Pro running Yosemite, you'll be fine.
The scroll wheel is a bit jumpy, but there's probably a system setting to fix that.
works on OEM drivers with standard scan codes. this set even works on android smartphones.
MSY have jacked their price up to $22. They were $20 a few days ago so you could Price match with them before but not now.
Yup I did this on the 23rd, price matched msy on wirless 800 and 3000 and hd 3000 webcam.
hard to go past a couple of these for home/work if you haven't already used your Microsoft cashback on othew thingys
http://www.binglee.com.au/microsoft-2lf-00020-wireless-deskt…
binglee has it for $19 available some places
I checked and they are out of stock and wont be re stocking
MSy have the MS 2000 keyboard for an effective $2 more than this MS 800 keyboard
MSy have the 2000 for $32 and you get $24 cashback, so an out of pocket $8 (after 60 days or so).

Just picked one up at Watergardens office works and they had plenty. Bought it for mum and using it right now. Keyboard is nice to type on and it also has mini receiver. Excellent buy for $6 (After cashback). Thanks OP.
Cheaper @ computeralliance. $19.95
Cheaper @ binglee. $19

http://www.binglee.com.au/microsoft-2lf-00020-wireless-deskt…I am In Melbourne
they matched this price
when this deal was posted last time
BUT they wanted $16 postage added on top
of the price
this is for people not in Sydney or QLD
Ask officeworks to match the price:
http://www.binglee.com.au/microsoft-2lf-00020-wireless-deskt…
Some store staff will beat them by 5% and come down the price to $18.05 and just $2.05 for the this pack.
Good lucky everyone!!!
Great price but be aware that the receiver on this sticks out a lot more than a Logitech unifying receiver. If you use it on a laptop don't expect to be able to keep it in the laptop all the time - when travelling you will probably have to remove it.
Harder to lose. ;-)
difference between the 800 and 2000 ? (apart from 1200) also i couldn't see MSY as a participating retailer ?
Essentially for the 2000 you get taskbar keys and improved palm rest.
How it works:

Purchases made from auction or bidding websites and overseas online retailers are not eligible. Excludes Surface and X Box Accessories. MSY is listed as a participating retailer in the terms and conditions on the Microsoft site. http://www.microsoft.com.au/cashback/Home/Terms
cheers
Love it, do want! Thanks OP :)
It does not seem compatible with Win8, only up to Win7.
Computer/Operating System
Requires a PC that meets the requirements for and has installed one of these operating systems: Windows 8.1, Windows 8, Windows 7.
The Microsoft cashback site is not secure and wants your bank account info!
Just put the 's' in https.
Many thanks. There were heaps on the endcap at Fairy Meadow (Woolongong) at $36, the keyboard was $22, and it scanned at $22.
Price matched for the $19 one above. Paid 18.05 at office works strathpine. Thanks op.
Did the same at Albury. Bought two. For work - so tax deductible I guess. :)
Brisbane cbd adelaide st is out. I grabbed the last one.
Coburg (VIC) store has about 10 in stock still. Says $36 on the ticket but scans at $22. Thanks OP.
2 left in clarence st sydney cbd. None in pitt st.
Still about 6 at OW Nerang.
Thanks OP. :)Always $22 at @msy
A bit worried, the email sent to me says
"*Recommended retail price. Price is set by the retailer."
Does this mean you only get the 40% off the price paid rather than Microsoft's RRP?No I think it is definitely 40% off Microsoft RRP. Perhaps they have written that in case you bought something from a retailer that was priced higher than the Microsoft RRP. edit: I didn't vote your comment down!
For the millionth time, since no-one can read the posts that have been put up explaining it:
From Microsoft's cashback page: *Recommended retail price. Price is set by the retailer. Excludes Xbox and Surface accessories. For purchases made between 20th December 2014 to 1st February 2015. Redeem by 20th February 2015.YOU WILL GET 40% BACK FROM THE RRP, NO MATTER WHAT THE RETAILER CHARGED YOU!!!
If you paid $20 for this keyboard & mouse set, you will get $16 back, because Microsoft has set the RRP at $39.95
If you paid $35 for this keyboard & mouse set because you bought it somewhere more expensive, you will still get $16 cashback, because Microsoft's RRP is $39.95.
Even if you managed to find somewhere that was selling it for $49.95 (ie above the RRP) you'd still only get $16 back, as Microsoft say the RRP is $39.95.If you can't understand that, I don't think you should be doing any shopping…..
Bought one at $18.05 from OW Melbourne CBD
bought one and am redeeming the cashback at the moment. I don't qualify a real OZbargainer because I paid 5.95 freight to OW :(
10 at Officeworks Five Dock in Sydney @ $22
Bing Lee has put their price up from $19.00 to $25.00 , maybe due to this Microsoft cash back offer . When I rang yesterday , they said their stocks were all gone , now they have stock with the new price !!
They have a stack of these at OW Dee Why still priced at $22. thanks OP.
just been to OW Rothwell guy said his reason for not price matching is he didn't feel comfortable even when I pointed out other OWs were price matching Comp Alliance still at 22$.
The microsoft website states cash back is based on RRP, if you pay for less than RRP do you still get the full cash back based on the RRP?
