    I like the previous deal better, with the visible wooden block. I can't see what's growing inside the block.

    This is a good deal, but yes the other was probably a better set as you could see the knives/inside the block.
    This deal for some reason doesn't qualify for the local shoppers discount either (some things on that site do whilst others don't), can't figure out why.
    $1 cheaper at Victorias basement but not free sharpener. Same price at Peters of Kensington but not free sharpener either. These other places may/may not have free shipping either. Posted deal seems to be cheapest though.

    I was looking at these yesterday, this block is very unattractive. The plastic parts look exceptionally cheap and nasty and like it wont age well. If you can have it square on, and only see the steel, then it may be okay.
