Amazon Australia?!? Is this new or am I just behind the times, cause I've never seen this site show up in any of the searches for cheap ass games …………

  • Cool i like the free version.

Edit its not applying the discount.. i've already removed all foreign mailboxes

  • Thanks OP

  • So if I have Amazon.com Appstore installed. How do I get Amazon.com.au apps?

    • +1

Easiest way is wait until the FAOTD in the US store ticks it's day over and get it from there. 95% chance the app will be the same.

Yep, at 6pm Oz time this game will be free in the US Store

  • Nice game. Note Requires Amazon store to be installed even after you installed the game (try removing it - any game bought through amazon even for free will stop working).Pain in ass for those with limited storage on phone.Better off buying it (the games from these guys are on sale on google play right now).FWIW the amazon store app seems to cause higher battery drain on my devices…

  • Whoa, I got rejected for my free purchase!

It's apparently region locked and I'm not recognised as Australian …… or American?!?

    • Wait until 6pm AEST. Not sure if it's device or OS dependent, but it should work later today.

      • I gave +1 for the deal, it's a great find, but the Amazon App is worse than a virus so I won't touch it anyway. It's the impulse buyer in me that always makes me click on a deal, even if I don't need/want it :)

  • US Link Now Added :)

When will we stop the madness and just have Amazon as one post an just list any differences in the body of the post?

      • That will be a bit hard once post if 1st uploaded as the Aus store offers it around 24 hrs earlier. At least it's only 1 deal rather than 2

        • +1

How you have posted is how it should be done. Mods can update later when US links become available. Separate postings is the most ridiculous thing I have ever seen and I can't understand how people try and justify it as separate.

        • @bxpressiv: Yeah that's why I updated The link in post once the US Version came available for free :)

        • @TRENT86: I'm saying what you've done is a good thing, should be industry standard.

        • @bxpressiv: Oh ok Sorry :), Just sounded like there was another deal of the same out there :)

        • @bxpressiv: Separate posting has it's place. When I subscribe to a channel like "Games" I get notification of each post, and the title generally dictates my interest. If it has anything other than "PC" in the title I simply disregard it as I'm fully aware that some console 'tards are able to hijack their baby sisters computers to write up a bargain ….. with her help of coarse :)

So it comes down to the initial exposure (title) as a person won't see any updates to posts they didn't decide to look at when the first notification came through. Also tags and searching. Ultimately the mods help us out when we f'up, and do a pretty good job of it.

        • @Ebany:

We're specifically talking about Amazon AU and US posts not being separated as the content is 95% the same.

        • @bxpressiv: sheepish look :/

          My bad :D
