How much notice of an upcoming sale is ok? There seems to be quite a lot of posts for items that will be on sale (to give Ozbargain hunters a better chance). Better than finding out after something is sold out on the first morning.
Perhaps a day or two is alright, but a month in the future is certainly unacceptable. It also prevent other users to post it again closer to the date.
Would you remember about this sale until next month?
I think the Aldi deals are often posted less than a week before hand …
That's usually a better time to post too, as people are more likely to vote it positive if they can pick it up next week or now, rather than in 3 weeks time.

You can't vote on a deal once it is 30 days old (IIRC). I wonder what difference that makes to the timing of deals posted.
