UPDATED Make any ticket purchase online at Village Cinemas with Mastercard MasterPass on Boxing Day 2014 and receive a FREE Village Cinemas Gold Class Voucher.

Scant details unfortunately and i could not find any reference to the deal on either the Village cinemas website (www.villagecinemas.com.au) or the Mastercard website. I was browsing www.theage.com.au and noticed an advert on the main page sponsored by Village cinemas and Mastercard MasterPass. The advert would imply that the MasterPass purchase needs to be made with Village Cinemas, see the wording "One voucher for every online ticket transaction made" in the Terms and Conditions.

  Has anyone been able to redeem the Gold Class vouchers? I tried to use them for The Hobbit, but it says I am 'unable to use this voucher for this session'

    I tried a booking at Crown and it worked. Is the cinema one of those listed and did you select a Gold Class movie?

  Masterpass system is painfully slow and buggy, nowhere near Paypal, I booked one ticket at 12.15 last night and still got the gold class voucher, should have booked more… but I was afraid it was too late to book…sigh…

  I've not received my vouchers. I made two transactions on boxing day for hunger games in the day using nab masterpass. Do they automatically get emailed or am I doing something wrong?

    Have you got them now? They ended up in my junk mail folder, because the sender was really nondescript and the voucher was an embeded link for you to download. It was around 10-12am on Saturday.

  Anyone tried to redeem their gold class tickets yet?

  I couldn't book using 2 vouchers in 1 booking, but the vouchers would just overlap and wouldn't let me apply 2!

    I booked 2 hunger games the other day.. No issues (booked at the cinema not online). I think the issue some people are having is that they are trying to book movies for which they are NFT (no free tickets).

  I booked for two with no issues - I submitted the promo code on the page where you select your tickets (top right hand corner).
