      I ordered a G600 from Logitechshop last week. The G600 that arrived was manufactured prior to October 2012 and therefore had inferior firmware (causing cursor delay and random cursor jumps) that could not be updated.

      I ended up shipping it back to Logitechshop expecting a replacement but they just refunded me. Now I'm wondering if they're going to cover the cost of return shipping as well.

      So I suppose if you want to order a G600, maybe ask them to make somehow make sure that they send one with the latest firmware.

          Check the firmware in "Logitech's Gaming Software" by clicking the gear in the bottom right. Then select the G600 tab (which I don't have since I sent it back). http://i.imgur.com/wK9UG0k.png

          If the firmware is U77.00_B0012, it was manufactured prior to October 2012.

        I think if there is nothing on the box stating that, it is impossible for any retailer etc to check the date of manufacture but it is a good point and we will checking with our distributor to find out if there is anyway of telling as we receive g600's in many deliveries and batches so it would be hard. Having said that rest assured that we will be looking into this. There must be something on the box that would show it otherwise it is impossible unless the distributor or Logitech notes it.

    2x Logitech G600 mouse for $79?
    Such a good deal and even though it is my favourite mouse I still could not recommend it. Still bummed out about the placement of the G-shift button which prevents your fourth finger from being able to firmly grip the mouse like you would on any other mouses, leaving you with only the pinky for grip. (actually the pinky and the palm.)
    In a tense situation (such as a raid boss or pvp battle) the mouse becomes very tiring to use because you rely on your pinky so much. Basically EVERYTHING has been sacrificed in order to have as many buttons on it as humanly possible. But still I can't fault the designers for that because the G-shift button has been very valuable to me (e.g. I mapped it to the dodge button in Wildstar). Valuable yes. But too costly.

    If they can design a mouse that is the same as G600 but with a normal fourth finger grip, I would gladly pay full price.

    I have one bad z906 satellite speaker. It makes a weird distortion noise and if I lower the cross-over frequency (I know they aren full range speakers and not tweeters, but this still works regardless) it removes the distortion. Problem is, I can only have this work when playing over analogue via my PC. Playing via my PS3 & PS4 over SPIF still exhibits the issue since there is literally no way of changing the bass and treble in the speakers. I'll need to either add in inline high pass filter into the line going into the problematic speaker, or buy a new satellite speaker…

    TL;DR you wouldn't happen to sell z906 satellite speakers only would you? :)

        This mouse is too wicked mang.
        Once you go m570 , you never come back!
        I owned one and still using it.
        Really great review in amazon.

        Maybe for the first time, your thumb will get tired because you get used to good-old fashion wrist moving mouse. Once you get used to it, it's very comfy and your wrist won't easily get tired + prevent you from sore wrist which can lead to injury.
        You can use it in a very crowded and narrow space. Hell, you can use it in your belly if you want to , just move your thumbs up

          Preaching to the choir m8. Die-hard old school Logitech Marble Trackball user.

          Logitech ditched the 3 button design of old due to the mouse wheel being invented and I was too stubborn to 'settle' for an 'inferior' 2 button trackball.

          Years later clickable mouse wheels became standard but the prices of trackballs was never at a point that made me come back to them to replace all the free mice I get from my various IT jobs.

          Now..the twinge of RSI is making me lust for a trackball again…at the right price of course cuz…you know….good health be DAMNED if the price is too high…

          Well said, but unfortunately we go by what our distributors sell it to us for, When they have specials of course we pass it on. But if there is no special at the time we do our best to stay competitive. We would rather sell it at $99 if we can but we will end up loosing money. We do our best always.
