Asos lost mme as a customer when they lost their free shipping with no minimum purchases.

Maybe if people didn't buy $2 socks at a time they wouldn't have had to take such drastic measures.

      • But that was their point of difference and a major advantage over buying in bricks and mortar stores. They should set a nominal $10 minimum and therefore limit abuse of the system. $40 is far too high and makes the risk/reward of buying clothing online vs bricks and mortar far less attractive.

  • Are their sizes accurate? ie, if I wear a size 34" waist pair of levi's jeans, will the 34" waist chinos fit me ok?

    • I have found that their sizes are pretty good for me. I'm a 32" and their 32"s fit great.

      • I've found ASOS branded sizing to be pretty consistent (32" = 32") but bought a pair of River Island pants (32") from ASOS and found them to be way too tight, more like a 30".
And that was before Christmas lunch…

Always wanted to wear chinos but I have calves that don't fit through the legs :(

Bought a pair of Asos jeans the other day sized 30W30L which fit perfectly so for me their sizing is pretty accurate.

  • Bought 3 pair of them and another pair of $10 shoe.

Hehe, if the rrp is of any significance, I'm pretty happy, but oh well great price anyway, long since I bought stuff on asos!

So today I received my order of 2 x chino shorts and a couple of tshirts. Order process was super easy. Delivery took 7 days from order placed to received, but bare in mind this was over Christmas and boxing day where there's public holidays and the postal service is super busy. Chino shorts are great and fit true to size, but the tshirts aren't up to par, so I may return them.. They fit fairly big and the overall quality isn't quite up there. Nonetheless, a positive experience, and with the sale prices happening, well worth it!

  • as if its not bad enough they charge shipping now on orders under $40, I put an order in for $42 and it's still charging $5 delivery
