  No, V300 is old tech and has quite poor performance compared to the newer drives out there

Stay away from v300… That fury is ok.. Just not the v300 range, unless one is using it as secondary drive

  Fury is a rip off at $139 - you can get a Sandisk Extreme II for that price which kills it for performance, or an 840 Evo which is still a very good SSD.
