  • Can't choose pick up by myself?!

    • +1

Click "Select a store" up near the Buy It Now, or the Postage and payments tab further down.
Enter your postcode, select your nearest store with stock and Buy It Now or Add to Cart via the buttons below.

      • Weird - doesn't matter what postcode or address I used (I even used generic ones like Sydney, Melbourne, 2000, 3000, etc), the same error message comes up: "There are no stores near you that carry this item. Please try a different postal code or address."

Think TGG is insisting on charging the $9.65 postage cost….

        • Strange, I get 10 stores with stock each time when I put in 2000, 3000

        • @bamzero: Here's an interesting one… I originally logged to ebay via Cash Rewards and that's when I was prompted with the above-mentioned error message. However, when I open my ebay (Android) app and select the item (already stored in cart), it does offer stores for pick up albeit only 4 stores are available (and they are far from my chosen postcode)

I then tried the Cash Rewards route via my phone's browser to ebay's website and guess what… the in-store pick-up option is disabled once again. Hence I can only assume Cash Rewards does not play well with the in-store pick up option…

        • @DonIsGood: Maybe with TGG 'cause I just bought a new keyboard from DSE pick up in store via cashrewards and it worked.

  • These are great - they use a different interlocking system to the standard "Rocket Blender" design - which means the little plastic won't chip off when locking the blender in place.

    See illustration here.

Can't decide between this and the kambrook Blitz 2 Go. Any suggestions?

    • +1

i'd like to know as well! you do get the extra 300ml bottle with the blitz and looks like you need to press the pulse button for it to work.

      • +2

I'd say go the Kambrook. Purely because of the bottles, I own the George Foreman and they are not suitable to drink out of if you have a nose on your face, especially so for smoothies that require tipping up high.

      • We have blitz. Good so far. But dont know difference between this one though.

    • Same, but in the end went with Mix & Go as from what I've read it's still pretty good and of course the cheaper option.

Didn't think we'd use the 300ml bottle of the Blitz2Go, but looking at them think I would have liked the Blitz ones better. The Mix & Go's look like they may be a little awkward to drink out of but guess we'll see.

BTW, looks like Kambrook has another model in silver now, if you don't like bright orange appliances :)

      • I'm inclined to get the Kambrook one. Now waiting on good guys to update their listing and show stock at my local good guys. don't feel like forking out $9.95 for postage…defeats the purpose of the 20% promo.

        • I just ordered the Blitz 2 Go from TGG ebay. Local pickup was not available at my local store so I called and they said they had about 1000 units.. They said they would gladly refund the shipping cost when I go to pickup.

So it ends up being $35.20

  • I curious whether any of these brands bottles have the same screw fitting, specifically the Kmart ones. I'll have to check them next time I'm there..

  • +1

Kmart have their single serve blender for $15. A single drink bottle is included (http://www.kmart.com.au/product/drink-bottle-blender---green…). Plus, there are 2-pack spare bottles for the blender at $8 too (http://www.kmart.com.au/product/green-blender-bottles---2-pa…).

    • Apparently not much good if your trying to blend ice though.

    • +3

I had a look at the blades and they are much smaller and look quite blunt compared to the mix and go

      • Thanks for that bit of info. Very useful to know. :-)

Seems the George Foreman variety utilise dishwasher safe bottles. As per a little research, it appears that the Kambrook ones don't. So George Foreman is my preference.

    • Yeah, was one of my main requirements. Although I think the Blitz isn't recommended to be put in dishwasher, they are still dishwasher safe and many people do so.

But yeah, the Mix does specify its ok to put in dishwasher.

  • This is really tempting… what else can you make with this?

    • +3

pumpkim soup, baby food, milkshakes (if you wanna bring all the boyz to the yard), purees etc etc?

I use mine everyday. Great little thing and makes good smoothies. A bargain at this price.

Another daily user. This thing made changing my diet and improving my health an affordable exercise.

How is this conpared to the Ninja bullet?

    • According to my mum "the power is too low to blend kale to a pulp"
So she went a ninja and swears by it LOL

Hey all great blender for the price, check out this quick review on YouTube. QUICK REVIEW: George Foreman Mix & Go Blender: http://youtu.be/QM8Ja_pNvKk

    • Good review there. And nice bit of info on the wattage difference between this and the nutribullet.

  • how many bottles does this come with? in the picture it shows the blue and clear one so im assuming 2?

    • 2x 600mL ones. And yes, it's clear and blue. I've bought two of these already (no breakdowns… the other was for my bro).

  • i always 'kinda' wanted a smoothie machine, thanks

This device is probably one of the best value/use item I've ever bought.

  • +1

Great price for the blender. Add in the yellow or pink bottle and the price is pretty much what I originally paid in store.

For the price, it's great value. Easy to use and 300W is adequate power if you just want to make smoothies. I've used it every day more or less for the past 3-4 months to make my breakfast smoothies and the thing hasn't missed a beat. Blade attachment is easy to clean (but I do wash it immediately before anything dries). Also easy to take with you if you travel for work.

For those that commented on the lids being hard to drink from if you have a nose, yes, I originally found this to be the case but adapted to it (tilt your head back as you raise the bottle).

If you intend to use this everyday, I'd purchase the third bottle. It just helps to have another one so as to not wear out the bottles too quickly.

[As an aside, anyone looking to slim down a bit I strongly recommend cutting down on carb intake during breakfast and dinner. I've seen a massive drop in body fat since being put on an almond berry smoothie for breakfast from my naturopath and making other dietary changes. A good naturopath doesn't come cheap but the Mix n Go blender was an affordable investment that didn't add much cost onto the overall investment.]

I've heard good things about the nutribullet as well but considering that costs a fair bit more than the George Foreman Mix n Go, if you're after a daily smoothie maker, I'd invest in the Mix n Go for that and save the nutribullet for things that requires more than 300W.

  • Yeah, I'm trying to choose one aswell. How many watt is the Kambrook? I was looking at 600m Nutribullet

    • It's only 300W as well but someone above said the Kambrook bottles aren't BPA free.

      • Kambrook IS BPA Free

  • As a side note a few points on the Tribest personal blender which I purchased about twelve months ago when I was looking for a Nutribullet alternative.

    • Its 200W, significantly less than alternatives.
    • Price is generally in excess of $100, significantly more than alternatives.
    • Much smaller than the Nutribullet. Can't compare with Blitz or Mix as I have never seen them side by side
    • Ability to blend is limited but produces reasonable results. It struggles with ice, carrots, etc., I need to cut carrot into sections <1/4" thick whereas I have seen better results from a nutribullet with 1" thick sections.
    • It is terrible at grinding.

Has anyone done a comparison between the Tribest and Blitz/Mix? At the price range it may be worth punting on one of those two, although I am happy with my Tribest, it just takes a bit of preparation to use.

  • what different if compare to the kmart 15 dollar one?
