Day 2 of the Steam Exploration sale.

I use a proxy to scrape the international stores and manually converted the Mexican Peso to AUD. Watch out for those currency conversions when buying from overseas!

    How do people purchase from other region Steam? I've tried a few times without success.

      From the Steam EULA FAQ

      Is buying from other region steam shop allowed by using proxies or VPN?
      * No, this is not allowed.

      Is it allowed if I ask someone else to buy a game that is not locked to a region, and gift it to me?
      * Yes, this is allowed. BY THE WAY, this also works fine on region locked games. It helps to have a friend in a non-locked country like USA, because they can buy the game and gift it to you, and it's perfectly legal.
      * If you bought all of your games through other people buying them for you, then Steam would see the pattern and you would be banned. (Not the client itself, someone would review your account.)

      If I buy from other region steam shop, what can steam/valve do about it?
      *According to the EULA's you signed, anything they want, up to a total ban.

      My account is USA region, hence, the initial price mix-up. That said, I have used a VPN and secondary account/credit card to purchase then gift back to my primary.

      Your account is region locked, the only way to do it is either
      1. Transfer your account to another region
      2. Sign up as a new account under a VPN and gift games to your account
      3. Use someone from within that region to send games to you

    nice setup, but do we really need one post per day of sales? how about flash sales? do we also get one post per flash sale? these should be added into the OP for this sale!

      I love Brazil. The Enhanced Steam plugin for newer versions of Firefox also included Nuuvem in it's evaluation of the cheapest price for a Steam title. I highly recommend it. It also has historical low info.

    Wolfenstein New Order is £11.89 in UK. 2.99 is price for Return to Wolfenstein.
