Buy the smaller size and a couple of in between to give you a goal to work towards.
This tactic also works if you're simply too lazy to look at the sizing chart. Grab one of each size, you'll find a friend that fits the ones which you don't, haha.

Yes you are right, there are only 3 items in tshirt section and rest are $4.98 still great buy , but you got more option in shorts category for $1.
