    This part:
walk-in only price, limited to 1 per customer. No phone/reservations will be processed. Valid till 1st October 2009.

Should probably be emphasised a little more.

    Anyway.

    • Q9550 is available for $298 down the road at NetPlus, and $299 a little further away at MCG Tech. So a $9-10 saving there.
    • GTX 275 can be had for $263 at Umart, and locally there's MSY and Netplus at $278 and $279 respectively. A $13-$14 saving.
    • 808GB HDD. Again, Netplus for $78 or PLE for $79. Again, saved $9-$10.
    • You can actually get a slightly better version of the L300 from Minidigital (again, down the road from Austin) for $763 (it comes with 2GB and a 250GB HDD). So nothing exciting there.

The first three are fine if you're in Perth and if you want those specific items. You'd hardly be tempted by the prices if they weren't already on your shopping list though. Laptop not a bargain.

    • Except I wouldn't trust Minidigtal as far as I could throw them, way too many bad dealings with them. Checkout Whirlpool.

      • Fair enough. Their stock listing of 715 in a bit dodgy at that. It's probably just a reflection of, say, Ingram Micro's stock (wholesaler) and they don't have anything.

But if you simply organise a pick-up (this listing is a WA pick-up only deal), the warranty is then with Toshiba wherever you buy it from. So it's hard to go wrong.

EDIT Bah, they don't do pick-up. Nevermind then.
