  I bought one of these recently from EB Games and it's a nice headset - usually my ears get too hot when enclosed, but these are light weight and comfortable and seems to have good voice pickup too.

  But I'm sure I didn't pay $78 for them (currently price at EB Games), would have to go docket hunting at home.

  From the images, the ear cups are small for an over the ear headset, not comfortable for many hours of use. Your ears will be sore

    Not my experience - in fact, I love watching movies with this on laptop - with latest drivers, surround is great. Only negative - no outside noise isolation at all.

    Superseded by GameCom 788, hence low price, I guess.

    nah.. I've got big ears and they easily sit inside the cups and don't get cooked after hours of use.

    guys.. it's a headset. there are no drivers, you plug it into the PC (headphone socket), your mobile phone, CD player etc. and it just works.

    On a PC you may need to change the sound output device if you have a speaker normally as your primary sound output, but that's it.
