You also need to select free shipping from the shipping options for it to be free. Basically you're giving them your details for spam in exchange for 7 pissy little sachets - as is the case for most of these freebies.
All they get from me is a legitimate postal address, every other detail is fake so they are welcome to that. And if they want to start spamming the postal address with junk mail thats ok, its automatically thrown in the bin anyway

Not a fan of deals like this on ozbargain, seems like a smaller company trying to get people to sample thier product who actually have a small chance of buying. 99% of people who get this sample on ozbargain would have no interest in the product, it is exploitative
Companies are not looking for 100% takeup anyways. If you have 20 companies with the same product, I am sure you are not going to try each one of them if such offers are not there.
Exactly right so it is important to have these offers available for people who have an interest in your product. Reality is now they'll receive 1000 orders from ozbargainers after a freebie and a handful from people who actually wanted to try the product
People will not ask companies that I want to try this that and may not know the benefit of product to begin with. People may be given bait initially to try but if the product is good, they may have change of mind and start buying it actively. I dont think Ozbargainers dont buy any product and just rely on freebies only. They are customers in the market for these products and are actually much easier to give bait as compared to other people who may not care to look for trial offers/freebies/etc.
In the end, companies have got handful of those people and handful of ozbargainers (from the large pool of 1000) and that is all they want. Also companies know ozbargainers will spread the word if the product is good.

Once I choose QLD for delivery it ends up having 0.50c in GST after I re-select Free Shipping…not sure 2ml samples are worth even 50c
