Only reason I wont buy a PS4 is they didn't make a PlayTV2, the best thing about my PS3 is its PVR capabilities are great.
Sony did make the Play TV2 (known as PlayStation TV) and is due for release in the Australian market in only 2 days time on the 14th November 2014. You can buy it right now. Looks like it's no longer a FTA TV channel PVR any more more of a steaming video and movies/TV show download and play thing.

They're different products.
Playstation (VITA) TV is a PS VITA without a screen/controller.
It's for playing PS VITA, PSP, PSOne games on a TV and streaming from a PS4 or PS Now.

Yeh i figured, surprised though. Didn't think it would be sold out that quick since it started its sale today and there were cheaper and better bundles (black version though) for the past few weeks.
I guess white is a more appealing colour.
Because the PS4 white is a limited edition console whereas the black one is a stock standard.
