  • get a Dyson already :)

while this might be a bargain, i love my Dyson the best vaccum cleaner i've ever had

They're a good vacuum but severely overpriced for what they do. Dyson is the Apple of the Vacuum world.

They're are plenty of better vacuum cleaners for much better prices. Maybe not this one but for a little more you could easily get something better.

        Such as…?

        • Miele, or electrolux. I have an electrolux twin clean. Works well and picks up a great amount of dust with its motorised head. At the end of the day a vacuum is a vacuum. As long as you know which vacuum performs well for your budget then you are set. I own apple products too. But coudnt justify throwing 500 dollars for a vacuum that just vacuums.

    Thanks OP. Bought one.

This OZBARGAIN madness has to stop. I didn't even need a vacuum.

If only this thing ran on eneloops.

  • Only good thing I like about this vacuum is the dust compression chamber :) I would still get a dyson dc54 there's no filter needed at all, I know its expensive but if electrolux have that no filter changes or washes at all I'd definately get it for sure :)

    I rather my Miele.

  • I have a bagless electrolux from 2 years back (Ultraactive series). It's a great vacuum cleaner. I recall that I was comparing it to a Dyson barrel vacuum cleaner and that the overall suction and power of the Electrolux was pretty much on par for less than half the price of the Dyson. Filters are waahable etc…I'd still consider a Dyson if I could get one for close to the same price…but at the time I couldn't find one.

    • I have the top of range ultraactive series Electrolux. It is utter crap. Had to replace the power head twice, once under warranty and the other time it just stopped working 5 months out of warranty.

Cleaned out all the filters and changed them as well, the suction is still crap.

      Won't buy a Electrolux again
