Target Pacific Fair QLD 50% Storewide

590

Target Pacific Fair (on the Gold Coast) are having a 50% storewide sale until next Thursday due to relocation.
Tried to find a full size pic of the leaflet for conditions etc but no luck. Fairly sure it would exclude gift cards etc.

i wish my local big w and target (doncaster) could swap locations and have the same sale..

  • oh my lord…

Edit: get in there before they hide the good stuff

If it's anything like the 50% off relocation sale at Target Mt Gravatt the other month then all the good stuff has already been moved to the new store.

Mt Gravatt store was practically empty even before the sale started.

Well given the whole point of the sale is to clear the stock not stocked in the new store, yes, the most popular stock would have been moved to the new store…. Sale Seems a bit pointless otherwise!!

  • +1

Can't read what the exclusions are.

As you say, I wonder what things have been hidden.

  • Can op post the exclusions?

    Edit: Don't worry, it's not op's picture!

    • +1

no exclusions at all, everything is half the marked price.

  • The new store opens on the 21st. Possible, they have moved the good stuff already.

    • -1

Yes, I would imagine they have moved the 'good' stuff to the new store - hence the 50% off at the old store!!

  • +7

50% off the crap we're not going to restock in our new store sale.
WOW Telling the truth can really take the shine off a sale.

    • +1

      Yeah the T&Cs were graphic:
"Mostly stuff we found under the shelves when we moved them, or confiscated from shoplifters' underpants."

    • Been to the store?? Or just sitting behind your computer? They even had NEW Christmas stock at 50% off. A day in, of course the store is a little emptier and yes, I'd imagine all the 'new' 'good' stuff has been moved to the new store - that's WHY they are doing 50% off what's not at the new shop. Seriously people it's 50% off!!!

Every Ozbargainer near Pacific Fair right now: "GIFT CARDS!!!!"

    • +1

Doubt it … But anyone who got their hands on please post!

  • Would that work?

  • Excludes Video Games?

    • more like includes only "junks"?

    • nope saw all console games on shelves, didnt check any though, half price.
my bet is the latest were already packed for the move but there were still a heap on shelves.

  • Imagine no phones… would love a G526 for $50!

Went there earlier. Excludes gift cards, phone credit, that sorta thing.

Includes everything else, yes games, phones, etc.

There were no consoles, no decent phone - just the cheaper pre paid ones, some games left on all platforms. the store was very empty.

Pendo tablets 7" were from memory $30, so that wasn't too bad. Lots of Skylanders. Appliances were going quick and towels seemed to be non existant. Walked out without buying anything. Be prepared for super long queues. Park in the Myer carpark, no hope of finding a spot at the carpark closer to Target.

no tblets or any electronics in that area when we were there just after lunch. All the electronics were on pallets wrapped in black plastic ready to move to the new store at the other end on the cetre.

We went to get a feather doona, they were $129, marked at $79 then it was 50% off that, double size marked 5 (max warmth).
Lots of clothes, shoes, toys, kitchen stuff, map coffee machines at that time.
But the queue was across to half way in the store, would have been more than an hour wait so put our stuff down and left. Others had trolleys full of gear.

The kind of wait to expect with such a sale I would imagine! What do people expect? Every register was open with 2 staff on each register!! What more do people want??

        Never happy!!

        • +1

I didn't say I wasn't happy, just telling people there is a looong wait.

  • Went late this afternoon. Bought a lot of stuff. Easy getting a park. No queue Staff said they are bringing out new stuff each night

  • man I wish I was in the coast with the most right now !

  • Just as a matter of interest, where in PF is Target moving to? Can't quite work out where there would be space big enough, specially with the massive rebuild going on.

I know it is being upgraded, but as far as I was aware, they only demolished the back car park fronting on to Sunshine Bvld.

Used to live in Mermaid Beach, so just curious. Not been up to Qld for some years, but coming up in Feb.

Update, just went to Skyscraper City to check out the progress on the rebuild. I see Target is going into the revamped area where Daimaru used to be. Can't remember what was there after they remodelled that area following the departure of Daimaru.

Is the Mobil servo still there on the corner of Hooker Blvd and Sunshine Blvd? Can't see it in the pics on Skyscraper City. Just wondering if they bought them out to get the whole block.

Going to the new area where jb hi used to be, down around there.

It's actually quite a good clearance sale (obviously a lot of older stock). All stock has a clearance price marked down from shelf price and then it's 50% off that marked down price. I got a basic Thomson 7" tablet with google play for my mum for $29.50 and two t-shirts for for myself $3.50 each so I was pretty wrapped.

    • When they wrapped you, I hope they didn't put the Target bag too tightly over your head!

Maybe you were rapt instead :-)

      • No I was "wrapped" but thanks for your concern :-)

    Too late.. :(

Well… the deal is great, but I was there yesterday arvo and pretty much everything is taken. There were a few odd and ends there, but people were walking through and just picking them up. I got the last of 2 lamp-sets for $15 each (down from $99), which is great!

If I had thought ahead, I would have jumped right into the store the day this deal came up. Why I left it a couple of days I don't know. Anyway, don;t waste your time, everything is gone
