    .Resolution (Pixels) - 1366 x 768
    .Screen Resolution - Full HD

    Does not compute… i thought HD was 720 and Full HD was 1080…

    • Damn you ProjectZero. Beat me by a few minutes. Yes, you are correct Full HD is 1080p, not 720p. lol

      • lol, this seems like a decent laptop/tablet though

        • Decent, except for the 1366 x 768 screen

          @RedHab:

          Well that may be important to some people, but IMO, anything below 20" doesn't really require 720p for general uses. I mean the higher the resolution the better, BUT, for standard usage, 720p is more then enough.

  • Just a litte nit pick - 1366x768 is NOT Full HD. In common terms 1920x1080 is referred to as Full HD. The Flip, being a 768 vertical resolution is more liek a 720p screen. i.e. simply HD.

    • Cheers guys, it was part of the next model up :)

  • I want to ignore all these posts and just get a MBP 13", I'm sure I'll be happy with one. But the specs are better on this for what I want, and so much cheaper.

      If I had the money I would jump on this, it looks awesome, has a better graphics processor for gaming and cool features but im so broke :(

  • Screen Size ????

    • lol I knew something was missing. 15.6" it is :)

      15.6". It also weighs 2.35kg. Too big, too heavy and ordinary screen.

        Hey, just did a search for the i7 version, DSE has it on sale:
        http://www.dicksmith.com.au/laptops-notebooks/asus-15-6-tp50…

        If the details are correct its:
        * Full HD
        * i7
        * 8GB RAM
        * $1099

        Might be worth it for the pretty decent upgrades.

        • The extra Ram is nice but $250 more is a bit much and no mention of Windows 8.1 pro?

        • It just says Hd not full Hd.

        • $250 more for a an extra 4GB's of ram and a few hundred Mhz on the CPU LOL waste of money!

          Still a crappy "dual core" only CPU
          and a CRAPPY 64bit 840 28nm GPU thats blown away by the 2 year old 128bit, 28nm GT630m GT640m or GT650m !

          Why are we going backwards in performance!!!

          @vid_ghost:

          Well, I was hopeful screen was an upgrade too given the DSE website says "For games, turn it into a tablet with a Full HD screen". However, I had a look at one, and can confirm it's NOT full HD, so it's just CPU and RAM, which I agree is not worth the extra.

          To be honest, I didn't like the laptop. It's heavier than other similar priced/specced laptops, which makes me think I'd rather a normal laptop than paying for the swivel ability with extra weight. Also a few things about the design didn't seem as good as the Toshiba it sat next to, and miles behind the Mac's. I think I'll pass on this.
