No longer available at $599 it would seem:

This page shows the $599 deal as advertised, but
the linked page says only balcony rooms are still available, which are $839.

  • OP.. Link to specific deal please? If it is still available?
Nothing shows for 9nov or 26nov. The 7jan15 cruise still has a tab but when selected returns.. "Pricing and cabin allocations for this cruise are currently unavailable."

I went on the carnival spirit earlier this year.. 1st cruise… It was so good.. We paid $90 a night for 10 nights and still felt it was money well spent…

I would'nt bother with the Nouvou Resturant on there (the fine dining resturant cost $30)
    Its was terrible,
The meals in the empire dining room where really good each night(3 course formal dining included in price) . Oh the chocolate melting cake I want some now…
Or if you prefer buffet the 9th floor has a enormous spread.. (included in price)

Just saw ur comment after posting my question below. Is it large enough to entertain kids?

  • Anyone has experiences with Carnival Spirit? Big enough not to get bored in 12 days? Thanks.

    • You will be stopping at islands during your cruise, there is also slides and pools with events for kids during the day to keep them occupied

  • I would not recommend carnival spirit to anyone. Hygiene standards were appalling. Entertainment was very poor and lacked variety. Staff lacked any customer service, or even basic manners. You'd be better off spending more money on a quality company like RCI. If price is an issue, P&O are a much better company to cruise with (and should have comparable prices when on sale).

  • I've traveled on Carnival Spirit and there were lots of families on board, so it seems to be a hit with the family market. I enjoyed it, but they do not have as many activities (production shows, dance classes, etc) as Princess Cruises. Food was a bit nicer on Princess, but perfectly acceptable on Spirit. We had the majority of meals at the Spirit's Empire Room instead of the buffet restaurant, because we preferred the ambiance. Cruising is a nice way to chill out, read and relax. We had a balcony room which I highly recommend. If you want to avoid kids, taking longer cruises (14 days) usually works.

  • can't find any cheap rate , bait and switch marketing?

    • No, just way too late.
