  • I got the card earlier … I'm not sure it's 10% off the entire bill.

I went to Hot Chocolate and they declined to give me the 10% discount. I think they said something about it's off the food bill and not off drinks (I was having a hot chocolate from them) That or the bill amount was too low (one special hot chocolate) …

Still, $20 voucher is great :)

most of the restaurant there are average and over price.

    parking in docklands is expensvie.

    • Parking is not expensive if you know where to go. There are 2 places that do all day parking for $5 just off docklands drive.

    • Well, I don't think they are any more expensive than the CBD. That said, nothing really stands out there other than the James Squire and the Hot Chocolate place.

Docklands is served by Southern Cross Train Station and 2 trams, 1 of them being free. In addition, the Capitol City Bicycle trail runs through there.

      • Way more expensive than CBD…

(Pie of the day – $28.00 at Bluefire)

    • I have no problem paying for the parking around Docklands, way cheaper and easier to get to than the CBD. We often call in for lunch during the week as we cross the city. There are quite a few reasonable menu's with reasonable costs to choose from. If we are just calling in for a cuppa, it's $2.00 for an hour which is less than any parking meter I have seen in the city.

  • You need to pay $20 application fee.. even though there is no on going fee.. this $20 voucher is a break even..

    • +1

The $20 fee is ONLY if you want it express delivered. The card is free.

  • I'm a little confused, where on the form does it say you get a $20 voucher?

Too bad Docklands is a toilet.

  • So just to make sure, there are no string attached to the card..you just fill in your details and they send you a card and a $20 gift voucher?

    • Seems so. They seem to be running a lot of promotions to get people in Docklands these days. If you go for one of their mid week deals you can possibly score most of your meal for free.

I'd ask RiversMelbourne/ Fiona Hoppe as she is the one running the promotion.

  • Food there is over prices and expensive, and taste is average at best tried most of the restuarants there

  • I've tried most of the places in Docklands several times, and I've only had one bad meal. So this is pretty good value I think. Prices are comparable to similar places anywhere in the city, and there are several bargains to be had (especially at lunch time).

  • Just got it today. cool!

  • I got my card today and $20 voucher. I've eaten at Mecca Bah before and it's a really nice restaurant. I think for an entree and 2 mains and 2 drinks it costs around $60 so you save $20 on your bill which is good. Not sure if you can use both cards and get $20 off and 10% also??? Anyone used it yet?
