Fitness First is pretty bad, but I guess this is free.
If your looking to join a gym I recently joined jetts, its the best gym I know of.

More like a lifetime of being hassled by Fitness First staff. They once called me up and told me a 'friend' had given them my number and thought I would be interested in a two week free trial. When I asked what friend the salesman actually made up the name 'Chris' without missing a beat.
They would have to make it two months of free membership to make it worth all the hassling you're going to get.
Took me few months to get my membership cancel… NO Thanks to Finance First….

I got a 30 day free trial from them and ended up staying (after checking out other gyms in the area too, though)

Honestly, if you're signing up - tell them you don't have a mobile. They will call you regularly at inconvenient times to ask you to join. I didn't even sign up for a trial and I think a mate (grr) referred me, terrible idea. Got calls all week even when I told them I wasn't interested.
Suppose they're not the only ones to do it but they're quite persistent.
Guaranteed to be hassled before, during and after. It's the way these gym chains seem to operate unfortunately.
to hell with fitness first and all other chain gyms out there. didn't have good experience with another chain gym so they can all get stuffed.
This isnt really anything special - walk into any Fitness First (or many other chains) and they'll give you a free 7 day trial… and then as others have said, harrass you constantly for months afterwards even if you say you're not interested.
