Saw this in the paper and verified on line.

I have an earlier model i think and very happy with it in the bedroom. 4 passive 3d glasses works well. With wifi i can connect to my Plex server with LG media apps to play all my media. No need to buy a separate media player with this TV as it reads USB HDD and thumbsticks and has no trouble with any media formats so far (MKVs included).

Only neg feed back for this TV is no headphones out, so not ideal if you want to watch at night quietly.

  $598 last boxing day, but I bought samsung 3d tv at $648. Wait for that price if you can. Just 2 months to boxing day

    Yeah last boxing day sale at the good guys was awesome. I got 50" Sony bravia smart tv for $750 delivered. Very happy with it

    Not sure what TV plus is. It does have apps that connect to ABC view, sbs online etc…

    Yes it does have freeview plus with the latest firmware update. I bought this little bugger a few months ago for $900. Excellent TV!!
