food is really bad, look up previous deals.
for that type of money id rather go somewhere else.
I went there a year ago and was pretty disappointed as well. When I was in Melbourne last I went to China Bar Signature Buffet and found that was a much better deal - on par seafood but with a bigger range of other, better quality food for a comparable price.
I have to say 4-5 years ago I enjoyed this deal (probably saw it posted on here) - I went, I ate, I enjoyed. A few months ago, by chance I stayed at this hotel twice (once for work, once on holiday with my family), both times I had the buffet, both times I thought - this is sh%t.
Crap selection, real "trough" style food, seafood straight out of freezer bags onto the buffet in bulk, Asians fighting each other for best position at the "trough" (I can say this as I am an Asian). Appalling desert selection (imagine scooping out mushy ice cream with kids hand prints in it into your scratched up tiny bowl).
Given the hotel is quite nice overall, this "restaurant" really lets it down.
I consider myself to be both a bargain hunter and a buffet connoisseur - trust me, nothing exciting here.

For the price, bankstown rsl buffet is heaps better plus it has fresh sushi
As others have said food is terrible and you can dine in the vicinity for the same money at much better places.
Food here is really really bad. Sheraton on the Park is significantly better
Had breakfast there recently, good chocolate croissants and coffee.
I went to the Bankstown RSL club buffet called Star Buffet 2 days ago and its probably one of the best buffet around sydney considering its value for money and almost half the price…
True story bro, next time I'm staying at four points, I'll catch the bankstown train in the morning for the buffet breakfast and then back to the company headquarter on Kent st.
