    Rep do you know if these will work with a Samsung Galaxy S3 and a Nexus 5?

    Also I have one of those ears that earphones love falling out of at the slightest movement. I have large ears (I think) which may be the reason why. Whats your experience with these earphones? Will they stay in? I only use earphones while I walk to work, thats it. No running etc. I want to buy these but dont want another pair in the closet gathering dust because they keep falling out.

      Wristband currently doesn't have enough App support, since xiaomi only delivery their own app in Chinese.

    Hi guys,

    Having bought too many IEMs thanks to Ozbargain, I'm beginning to get a feel for what would seem ok and what is value for money.

    Got a few questions. First is, on the specs, it states berylilum alloy diaphragm, then dual-damping balance system. Does it mean its a dynamic type or BA? What does it mean by dual-damping balance system? What is the diameter of the speaker?

    Secondly, while impedance seems like the type normally used for smart phones and mp3 players, the sensitivity is on the low side. Most of my IEMs are rated between 12-18 ohms at 1 kHz and has a sensitivity of 103-110 dB SPL/mW at 1kHz. Does this mean I need to jack up my volume really high to compensate this or need an amp? I've got a Filo E6 but its a hassle to bring another device out even though its "smallish and portable".

    Thirdly, microphonics. One of my pet peeves is microphonics. UEs are one of the worst offenders, every single UE IEM (metrofi 220, ue200, ue600) suffers from this. My Brainwavz R1 or Feels Pro 900 doesn't. If i'm going to be using this for walking and running, will this suffer from microphonics?

    Fourth, can you confirm what material the ear pieces (tips) are made from? Also, do you know what Comply foam tips are compatible?

    Fifth, does it come with a cable clip? Last thing I want is to have my cable flailing around when I'm jogging.

      The Piston 2 is dynamic. Also, double air damping system basically means there are multiple internal air ports for damping sound for a natural, smooth low frequency extension.

    I bought for $14 from ebay (Sydney seller) and so it was genuine.

    $25 is way too much to pay..it sounds so AWESOME like $100 earphones but dont pay $25.

      Just because the seller is based in Australia doesn't make it genuine. It could easily be a good quality knock off.

      Go to any $2 shop, plenty of stuff there is fake.

    $26 is a decent price, but $35-$40 might be a bit too much. The price of these earphones in China is 99 CYN (around $19) and it is definitely genuine. Shipping from China will cost you more than $7 AUD of course :)

    I have a cheap pair of in ear headphones but they give a stethoscope sort of sound when you move. Is this the case with all in ear or is it just the cheapies?

      That's called microphonics, try using your current ones over ear, it is present in a lot of IEM's, but cheaper ones more commonly have it.

    For once, there's cheap in ear monitors worth buying off ozbargain. Most of the upvoted ones are just crap. The Xiaomi Piston 2's on the other hand are bloody amazing and worth every cent. Best bang for buck.

      Of course they don't. Apple have their own patented non-standard setup for the controls on the headphones. Xiaomi being an Android manufacturer use the standards compliant method. Complain to Apple, not this seller or Xiaomi.
