Quite a great camera. Full frame.
Cheapest I've seen.
2 year warranty.
15% off nikon SLR at the moment.
If you get some 5% off gift cards somewhere would be even better.

Wish the 810 was on there.
Just bought my first FF camera, the Nikon d800 to go with my Nikon 24-70mm F/2.8, Nikon 105mm F/2.8 VR, and Sigma 100-300mm F/4 Apo HSM IF EX lenses. I love it so far. I don't think I need to upgrade this for a while. Also, these new camera is no longer supported by Nikon Capture NX2 which is unfortunate as it is superior to the free Capture NX-D.
I'm with you on the CNX2 front but this camera is a downgrade to your D800
i wont call it an "upgrade" from d800 to d750.
d750 is an upgrade to d700.
i own a d800.
I would love the d810 but settled in a second hand d800 for $1700 with 13k shutter count. This is my first FX camera and hence I was very excited. I have taken the time to clean out all the dusts on the sensors, and there were many, even though the seller claims there were none. Each nef file is 40meg. I now have to be more selective of which file to keep. It is also more unforgiving with camera shake as it has a very high pixel counts. I now use a monopod to increase my rate of sharp image.
One thing i dont like about the Nikon NX Software is that it save changes to the raw nef. I rather have my raw untouch
The unadulterated raw information remain in the file. It is non destructive with the info saved.
yeah the raw image information is unchange, but the actual nef file is change and written due to the embedded information. Although most software are blind to these embedded info, but some can not open these files. So they technical are not "raw" file. Its increase the file size by embedding hi resolution jpg preview (i know these size can be adjusted in option) - might seem trivial but if you are dealing with 1000's of nef the different in size is huge. And any error during writting will kill your original raw, thats why a lot of NX user save a new nef file name so they dont loose the original.

expired, now.
Nikon on broadway probably the cheapest at 2299
Decent price considering recent weak exchange rate and the predictable price increase soon.
