Hey guys, I'm a long time user, first time contributor.

Found this deal while just looking for cheaper prices for the SOL republic Amps HD in ear earphones, and didn't think JB would offer such a low price on it. Perhaps it's a price error or clearance? Not sure, but the model that's one step down that has an RRP of $79 is still $79 on their website, so not too sure what's going on here.

It's available in both:

GREY

BLACK

They have had some very good reviews, including a 4/5 on pcmag: http://www.pcmag.com/article2/0,2817,2421140,00.asp so feel free to check it out.

I've selected the instore pick up option, and have yet to go pick it up, but everything seems legit at this point. Got an email confirmation saying it's in stock and ready to go!

Let me know if there are any problems though!

  Nice deal! They're on clearance most likely as I saw them going for cheaper in America from a legitimate store ( 29.99 at Marshalls) and they we're around this price point on Amazon a few months ago (where I had bought mine, except it was in USD so I had to pay 68AUD in total).

    The review mentioned by the OP says these have some serious microphonic issues. Can anyone else who owns a pair chime in?

      I've had a few tangle free headphones in the past and i've found that the very characteristics of tangle free cables contribute to some heavy cable thumps. But I'm not sure if these ones are significantly more intrusive than others.

        tangle free cable usually abit heavy, got 1 beats in hear from COTD which tangle free cable, i can hear the cable thumps as well.

    The 20% applies to DVDs, blurays and games only if I remember correctly
