  • I'm really put off from buying digital us psn since dick smith beats their prices and I have power of resell.
I am stuck with digital infamous and would love to sell it but cannot.
Digital is a curse unless you are happy keeping the game forever.

  • Personally I don't know why anyone would use the AU PSN pricing - I am ditching PSN+ for AU and sticking to my US account only. Sick of being ripped off.
    Better free games
    Cheaper full games

I do prefer retail but if I'm doing to have a digital account with plus, sticking with the US. It's a shame because I've got my regular account on my PS4 <name> and I've had to make <name-usa> as my second account :/ When my AU PSN+ expires for <name> I'll be unable to play online with that account anymore for the PS4 stuff :/

    • You will still be able to play online, online is shared between all accounts.

    • Better free games? They're the same again this month and have been done launch of PS4.

I have PS Plus on both US and AU. I picked US version for $30 and will again if I can purely for the US Plus sale prices.

historically for PS3 the US free games were better than the EU/AU free games (either 'better' titles, or newer titles offered for free, sooner).

hmm.. I'm really tempted by this - even though when I bought my PS4 and US PSN+ I'd decided it was only going to be for console exclusives and the 24 or more free games I'd pick up from PSN+.

But with LBP3 around the corner.. tempting to get better value as I know that'll be a title which will never be on-sold because the family are sick of it.

EDIT: hmm, I don't want to add my credit card, so I wonder if it works if I use pre-paid cards (bought from Amazon)?

        • historically for PS3 the US free games were better than the EU/AU free games

          Ummmm, NO.
The complete opposite is true, see my spreadsheet showing all “free” games since the inception of IGC here – PlayStation Plus "Free" Games History
It shows the two territories side by side for comparison.
Eu was consistently better, however US had far more in quantity, quality and size of discounted games that you could purchase, and therefore yours forever.

No – “The promotion code (“Code”) is good for one qualifying PSN/SEN account to redeem the SEN wallet Top Up via the PlayStation®Store. “

        • @snuke: Exactly, historically my ass, lol

I've been a Plus member since day one and the only negative the US side had was the poorer free game selections until recently.

  • Does this promotion only take into account money spent on selected titles? I read the T&C's and got a bit confused.

    • No, you don’t have to buy anything, just add $100 in funds to your SEN wallet and use the code.

  • sounds more like you need to spend 100 usd from your wallet for purchasing something on SEN
