don't know if this price has been like it for a while but I got xbox1 with kinect cam for $498 at Kmart Erina. Was able to also price match a wireless controller and the play & charge kit with the jb hi-fi current price.

Rumour has it big price drops for Xmas as MS really want to catch up and fix the name of the system. This is what was said roughly by them anyhow, look for big discounts and stuff.
Osborned!By 'fix the name' do you mean "Fix the 'we only care about sports and guns' image" or change the actual name to, I dunno, Xbox 720 like everyone thought they were gonna do from the start.

$500 really isn't a good price for this. As mentioned above, these are going to hit pretty low prices at Christmas, or when a game comes out that people can be excited about (it's a bit dry at the moment). Better to hold off.
