I have gone through bags and bags of these since they were reduced to one dollar per bag. At fifty cents I will have to stock up some more!

Yep.. seen them at quite a few Melb stores. Tried a pack, turning a blind eye to the vegetable oil (Palm) ingredient list. Too heavy for my liking. Won't be buying again. Instead will get my marshmallow fix from Pascall ($2.50 on special) or Arnott's Royals when on $1.62 special.
How do you know it is palm oil?
Vanilla Eskimo Balls are 14.1g/100g fat of which 13.9 is saturated. The culprit is "Compound Chocolate (37%) [Sugar, Vegetable Fat, Milk Solids, Cocoa Powder, Emulsifiers (Soy Lecithin, 492, 476), Flavour]". The 4% dessicated coconut adds saturated fat too.
Compare Arnotts Royals 16.0g/100g fat of which 9.2g is saturated.
Compare Pascall Marshmallows 0g/100g fat.
Our local Coles had them the same price…
