This is my first post. Not sure if this deal has been posted before. The title says it all. Macbook Pro 15" is under clearance sale at The Good Guys. Not sure for how long this clearance sale will be on. This Macbook is selling for $2050 on Kogan and $2199 on Harvey Norman.
A newer model is already out which is selling for $2499 on Apple's website.

EDIT: Never mind. Only the Retina models were refreshed in July this year.
No, this is an older version. 2.0 Ghz vs 2.2GHz (Newer), 8GB Ram vs 16GB (Newer).
With the pro's, I don't think so. They just refreshed the pro's this year so I doubt they'll be another upgrade. But the Air is getting an upgrade, with a retina display, but some reports say It's pushed back to 2015 to be released.
2014 air is already released earlier this year
There's a new Air coming out in 2015 with a 12" screen and retina display.

why 12"? so apple can claim it will be the lightest ultrabook in the world (compared to 13" from its competitors)?
but it could be a good thing, may "upgrade" my rmbp to a 12" with retina in 2-3 years.

The 2014 model's slightly faster processor isn't really noticeable ,although 16GB of RAM might be useful if you do graphic/video work

The m moniker is important here. And 870M is a rebranded kepler, not maxwell. The 860M is the only Maxwell MGPU released.
