Whats Dick Smith like for their delivery of preorders? Just waited a week for Destiny from OzGameShop and not wanting to repeat that process.
They are really good for PS4 games and assessories. I bought my PS4 from them and came the next day!

Just be careful, if you preorder mulitiple games together they don't ship until both have been released.
Preordered Destiny and Diablo 3, had to wait til Destiny came out before they would ship.
So if i get FIFA 15 and Call Of Duty, then I have to wait till November for both games including FIFA 15 which comes out in a week or two?
I ordered COD:AW and Destiny in the same transaction recently - I had Destiny on Thursday (release was Tuesday). COD obviously yet to be shipped.
I have heard that some people have to wait until the second game is released, however this absolutely wasn't the case for me.

Newsflash, PC gaming has had 1080P (and much more) for years. Should we make a note of that in every Xbox/PS4 deal like you do?

Not sure about that. The press has all been about how Xbone has struggled to replicate 1080p on cross platform releases, e.g. destiny beta was 720P for Xbone but 1080P for PS4.
And Porthos, the difference is couch vs desk gaming there I think. I had 1080P on PC years ago but can't say it matters that much on my 24" screen!

HTPC (with even just a mid range graphics card) + Xbox controller = couch gaming on 60" plasma :-)

can anyone comment on historical pricing after release? By that, I mean if standard fifa 15 is $69.98 now, is it likely to be the same, more or less as an ordinary purchase rather than a preorder?
