      Hi Metz,

We have rules setup on most products to increase price when stock gets low.

Im scrambling to remove them, give me about 20mins and itll be fixed.

      • What is the final price for ladybug? Was it bumped up?

        • I just got a ladybug for $24.97 :)

        • @BigglesKDH:
Lucky you. The website says they are now $32.47 (50% x $64.95).

With this website's increasing prices the discount isn't anywhere near 50% off the competitors on eBay.

  • No comment on the "regular" price of the 107g?

  • Came back a few hours later, got the heli I wanted. Thanks a bunch op!

  • +2

All the prices went up, well dont need to buy a thing then..

  • Dam why did I just buy 2 more Hellies ………… These are good prices not crazy cheap but decent..as you may be able to find close to that price from china direct but …. for half reasonable quality and dont have to wait for months for frign china post….. and a possibility of actually honouring the warranty. Good work OP

  • OP when is this deal ending?

    • Hi Abra,

We will run this deal until Sunday but I doubt stocks will last that long.

You can PM the item you are looking at and I can tell you the stock level.

      Thank you

  • Hi Op, I was trying to order V979 Quadcopter with Water Cannon earlier from work but the website seemed to keep failing when adding to cart, now the price has jumped, can you correct this also please?

    • Hi herbus,

Apologies for the website issues, it should all be fixed now including the V979.

      • Thanks Op,.. our first remote heli… between me and the 6yo I don't think it will last long, but what can ya do…

  • Never thought I would wake up to the purchase of 3 helicopters. Thanks OP!

BTW very nice checkout, simple and quick

  • Requestig deals on flybarless heli's other than V933 please. IE collective pitch heli's (walkeras)

    • Hi MountFranlin,

We will do our best to offer something next time for some others CPs.

  • Do any of the remotes have a rechargeable battery?

    • Hi mehow,

Remote takes anywhere from 4-8AAs. Most take 6AA. Helicopter does not come with these batteries, but I can tell you the remote doesnt require much power, so any old AAs will last quite a while.

I think that answers your question

      • Can you use rechargeable AAs though? (Rechargeables often have a slightly lower voltage, and some devices can't operate using them.)

  • Why dont you have any mode 1 transmiters as it is most popular in AUS

  • Ok, I've got a question… If you purchase two of the same (two children), can they both be flown at the same time without interfering with each other?

    • If the helis have 2.4ghz remotes - yes you can fly in the same space.

The infrared ones can interfere, but many have dual bands, so you can fly a couple together.

Check with us on the actual model and we can confirm. You can email us, livechat or message here on ozbargain

  • Oh - and no spare batteries for the V929? (If there are, price please?)

    • Thanks for the reminder, they are available on the V929 product page now. We have 40 extra batteries in stock.

Price is 12.95 for 1 or 19.95 for 2. With the 50% discount, makes them very cheap after that.

      • Oh, are you saying the batteries and repair kits are 50% off the price shown online too?

        • Yes they will get the 50% discount applied also, so 2 extra batteries will be $9.98.

  • Had the below when applying coupon code.

Coupon code "OZBARGAIN" is not valid.

    Rep, can you please advise/check?

    Thanks.

edit*** ok seems only able to choose from the link which the rep put up. I could have sworn I was able to apply the code to other models before. Was still deciding on the model and suddenly can't use it anymore.

  • Sorry for all the questions… But you said the V929 Beetle Quadcopter
can do flips. Can the V969 Quadcopter with Bubbles also do flips?

Edit: Just used their live chat. Apparently it does not.

    • Hi realfamilyman,

Sorry for the confusion, yes it does flips on 100% power. All of the V969, V979, V989 are capable of this, aswell as the V929. Must be on maximum power, but please get some practice before attempting!

  • What does order status On Hold mean?

    • I ordered yesterday and got this as well

hopefully it doesn't mean that it ran out :(

    • Hi aussie28,

Its ok, it means your order has been placed at our warehouse and we are waiting for the tracking number from the warehouse. All good!

We will input the tracking numbers as soon as we get.

  • Just got an email that the creash repair kit that I orderd with the Double Horse 9118 ran out and they will refund me, I would not have purchased this one if that was the case.

    • Hi aussie28,

Apologies, the 9118 plat packs sold fast, we werent able to update it in time.

Please send us email if you need us to make changes

      • Thanks, Have sent an email.

  • How about adding the Rambler-X Wall Climber. Thats something a little different.

  • hi OP whats the difference between 27/40mhz remotes and 2.4ghz??? what kind of differences in performance??

    • Hi jmac,

2.4ghz is the best. It has a longer range and better response.

27/40mhz are older technology, which is limited by range and not as responsive as 2.4ghz. Having said that, its certainly good enough in most cases.

  • hi OP, just checked my order status, it said that it's currently on hold Order No# 100002985 11/09/14, can you check why it's on hold, as i have order 2 items for a upcoming birthday, thanks

    • Hi gtn,

No need to worry, this means we are simply waiting for the tracking number which we will email to you tomorrow. Once we get it, we change the status to completed.

  • NOT impressed. Received a message saying all FOUR batteries I ordered are out of stock. No solution offered whatsoever. So now my kids receive a heli they fly for 5 minutes, then sit and wait 70min before flying again. And once the battery dies - toss the $250 order out.

  • They could've at least offered to send batteries at cost, after moving premises. Does anyone know where I can buy spare batteries for the Avatar 711?

  • Hey Rep, Am I able to obtain an RMA number from you?
I've ordered another helicopter I feel is more fit for my flying, and wasn't able to cancel my other order on time (damn fast dispatch!)

    • They won't come back here. They already got to flog off their superseeded stock with proprietry batteries - you'll probably have to email them directly. I've got half a mind to reverse the payment.

  • Bought beatle 929. Fun toy. But broke one leg of the structure hitting against a wall. Cannot fly it now. Looks very fragile.

  • I bought two Avatar, and two beetles. Can't fly either of them. First, the batteries go flat before you can work out how to fly them. Second, no matter how gently I lift them off the ground, the things are into a wall/tree/long grass before they even begin to react to the right-hand stick on the remote/s. Is there a trick to flying them!?

    • You might be trying to do too much at once. There is an excellent 9-part set of videos on YouTube that take you step-by-step through the process of learning to fly a quadcopter in addition to one on setting the trims by the same author. You might find these useful. When starting outside ensure that it's dead calm (ie no wind) - which probably means first thing in the morning or late afternoon/evening until you are confident that you have complete control.

  • Or… How do you get them to hover in one place? I've seen a guy in the park using a quadcopter - the thing is as level and solid as a rock. None of the tilting, and then crashing into things because of it, that these ones do.

    • How do you get them to hover in one place?

i dont know if this will be of any help to you but the one im getting (from a different deal) you have to calibrate them before flying so they know what "flat" is. put it on flat surface and do a certain button press to reset its g sensors. maybe yours needs that?

  • Bad experience for me - ordered via chat as their website was down but never received my copter. They had confirmed my order and receipt of my payment via the Paypal invoice they sent via chat.

Emailed over 1 week later and they apologized saying out of stock and offered me alternatives.

Requested a refund but not heard anything yet….
