Notes

  • Minimum $50 spend per transaction.
  • Discount also applies to postage.
  • A maximum discount of $100 applies to each transaction (Transactions totalling at least $666.67 including postage will give you the maximum $100 discount).
  • Up to 3 transactions per person.
  • Payment must be done through PayPal.
  • Discount can be applied to items sold by overseas sellers, as long as you checkout on eBay.com.au.
  • You can purchase multiple items (even from different sellers) in one transaction by adding them to your cart. However, make sure all items are in the same currency. Otherwise, you'll have to checkout in each currency separately and each currency you checkout with will count as a separate transaction.

Andrew from cashrewards , we are fully back, finally!

Sorry to all; for the inconvenience, we expected a significant increase in traffic however obviously did not expect the full power of Ozb's at 10 am this morning..

We were knocked for six however we are now back faster and stronger than before.

Any queries at all on transactions form today just let us know via the contact form on the website and we will be in touch asap. All sales from eBay take up to 2 days to to be reported to us and to appear in your account so we do need to wait until then to check on any transaction queries.

Be assured, if you have clicked through from cashrewards to ebay and followed the cashback guidelines your purchase will be tracked.

And any queries at all you are most welcome to let me know here.

    Apologies again..

  • Can anyone recommend a good deal on Surface Pro 3? It's quite expensive everywhere…

  • Ebay 15% off will make Moto G (2014) $228 vs $179 for moto G from DSE - any suggestions which one I should go for? it's for my mom who only use the phone for general browsing, very casual games, photos, call and text.

Also considering Nexus 5 - is this too good for a "mom"?

    http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Motorola-XT1068-Moto-G-2nd-Gen-Un…

    • I just bought both the new one and old one (for mum). The new one has bigger screen, better speakers, better camera, better WiFi, MicroSDslot, and dual SIM cards. The old one has better battery life (same battery but smaller screen). There is also a version of the old model with LTE and MicroSD. Not sure what Nexus 5 has to do with it.

    • I bought the Moto G (first version) for my mum and she LOVES it, it's easy to use and it's the perfect size. It does everything you listed and better because it's fast and snappy.

      go for gold

    • I own the old Moto G. Personally would not upgrade as it does everything I need and I don't plan on upgrading till another year.

  • +2

I bought Lg G2 32 gig for $313 delivered. Great price for a great phone.

    • Which model?
Cheapest brand new d802 I found was $409 from dwi

    • could you please post a link ?

    • Must've been a one off second hand G2.
If not, could you post a link?

  • +8

I can't stress this enough, people please don't buy the Nexus 5. The price WILL drop ANY day/second/minute now with the Nexus 6 coming out. Just gotta wait patiently.

    • +1

But I really want the red one now :<

    • Maybe they substituted the $100 price drop to the LG G Watch+Nexus 5 for $100 less. They seem to have a lot of stock as well in USA considering they were replacing it for free. Probably not anymore though…

  • +5

    Bought a Myki Card with $220 money… for $132 ($155.50 before 15%)

Nothing better than buying Cash with Cash

    • +8

be careful.. If the seller topped up the myki with a credit card, and then contacts their bank to unauthorise the transaction, the value stored on the myki will be removed when you next touch on.

      • +6

And no Paypal/eBay protection for that sort of purchase either

      • +4

Yeah I actually got scammed this way

        • +5

Its most likely a stolen credit card. You probably got scammed.

  • Damn it, I had my eye on a mower all week waiting for this sale and they upped the price, I emailed them asking if they think we are all idiots who wouldn't notice and got an automated message back saying "thankyou for your interest, we have many items"

    Was $230 all week

        • I have no idea either. Maybe it didn't work and that's why he only bought one.

    • Someone would pay $566 for a $500 gift card?

Just a quick heads up as I've been having a few issues; Ebay say that there is a limit to the number of items you can purchase in one transaction. I had the checkout choosing 10-12 random items from my cart for a total between $50 and $620. Had to get it down to 11 items to finish.

    And FYI

Any decent tablets worth buying with this deal or it it best waiting for the nexus 8-9? The Samsung tab pro 8.4 looks good though.

    • Tab S
Pick your size and best priced at DWI

    • Agree. Galaxy Tab S 8.4 or 10.5. Best android tablet currently in the market imo

      • Thanks guys. Yeah was looking at the Tab S but think it's a little out of my price range (looking to spend 300 max). Might just wait for the Nexus.

This damn promotion cost me $500

Just bought a Sandisk Ultra 128gb micro sdxc for $102 pretty stoked about that. Even happier that it is coming from Melbourne rather than China.

    http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/SanDisk-128GB-Ultra-Micro-SD-Micr…

based on the number of feedback, i'd be waiting anxiously for my SD card to arrive and not be a fake one!

It just PISSES me off the GREED of some shops!
Trying to get rich off ebay's sale!

Skycomp website $176 vs ebay $199!
IT Estate website $178 vs ebay $196!

    ASRock Fatal1ty Z97-KILLER
Skycomp website $176 vs ebay $194!
Mwav website $179 vs ebay $193!
IT estate website $170 vs ebay $187!

All you greedy bastards lost me as a customer for life!

The only one who is really decent that I've seen is this guy selling the 4790K CPU, not only is he cheapest by far from any other shop, but also didn't jack up the price for the ebay sale!
    http://cgi.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=231331…
he's sold 6 since this morning mine included! Good on him!

    • +8

Did they jack up the price or are those prices the regular price?

Ebay charges a huge amount in fees, around 10-12% once paypal is factored in as well… It's not like they made that much off computer parts to start with.

      • +4

Most PC components are more expensive on Ebay due to fees. Doubt they jack it up for this.

      • -3

How can the the guy selling that CPU reduce $24 below the cheapest I found on staticice during this special and get away with it then?

Of course I do take into account paypal fees.
There have been many sellers right here in this thread posting about ebay offering them FREE sales during this sale…

Rest assured that price jack is not because of fees

        • Probably grey imports from USA.

There's a lot of good 4790K deals in the USA

      • Unless you're in China and can get preferential listing treatment from ebay, listing cheap items is a non starter because of the fees taken. For a start, Paypal take 30c per transaction as well as an additional %.

    • +7

It just PISSES me off the GREED of some shops!
Trying to get rich off ebay's sale!

or they list higher on ebay due to ebay fees costing them more to do business than their own online shopping portals..ebay final fees + paypal fees are much higher than if you purchased direct from their website, therefore you would expect the price to be higher to cover these..

      • were their ebay prices dramatically increased at 9:59am this morning or are you just whinging ?

  • asus zenfone 5 or motorola moto g 2013
    TIA

    • +1

Been looking at phones, and checked both out quite well. The Zenfone has a card slot, the moto does not. The best version of the Zenfone would be the A500KL, but the best price on eBay is $275, so might as well get it from DWI for $235 anyway. That one is quad-core, 2GB RAM. But the CPU is not superfast by today's standards. For $40 more you can get an Xperia Z, which outperforms it and has better features.
      But still good value.

      • Thanks for reply
        I am looking for zenfone 5 a501cg its for $179 with 1gb ram and moto g $203.
Can you please send the link for xperia z i will look for it as well
        Thanks
