Smart Pen for Car $9 - Woolworths in store

30

Spotted this at Woolies in Balwyn, VIC.

Apparently it's $20 cheaper.

$20 at Supercheap. Reduces the appearance of scratches.

Edit:
Sorry guys - I'm on mobile, here's another shot I took while in a hurry :

    What is it???

All I can see is the price…

It's so smart it's hiding perhaps? (I think it's to the right but very dark on my phone at least)

What makes it smart anyway? My car has a dumb pen in it which does its job just fine.

Maybe it has Bluetooth so you can write whilst you're driving ???

        • Voice activated and it writes on its own? Well in that case I absolutely want one now.

That's a different product, this is a "Smart Pen"

So it's a scratch remover pen? Hmm gotta love marketing. (thanks for the update OP :))

    WARNING !!!

read the review from the Supercheap link before buying or using this product…

    DO NOT USE
    Overall 1/5 Stars
I used this on some scratches on my Camry. After it dried it looked like nail polish and was very noticeable - scratches now look even worse. Don't use smart pen.

    Sometimes cheap ǂ bargain…

So hidden under the skin of this smart pen lies a decisively dumb pen.

I've used this pen and that review is spot on. Stuff doesn't go on flat and needs to be wet sanded back then buffed out. Might as well skip the pen step entirely and go with a decent rubbing compound.

  • +1

    not worth it at all

  • +1

Paid $29 for it sometime back.

However, it has proven a complete waste of money.

Ineffective and scratches (even tiny ones) are noticeable afterwards.

    Don't waste your money… 0/5 Stars.

*Thanks OP for the post but give this one a slip"

  • Well according to reviews it doesn't work, no wonder it's only $9, should be $0.50 and should never have RRP of $20.

What else can you use it for? Give it to an enemy and tell them it's portable nail polish?

  • I used them (but real cheap ones off ebay) and yer they dont work, its just a fad (to sell the car maybe lol)
