How much is it normally ?

      DWI Ebay - $409
      Dicksmith - $598
      JB Hifi - $497 16 GB.

      • DSE and JB Hifi sell local stock, i.e. Australian version D802T. DWI is selling International version D802.

Nonetheless it is a good price, the G2 is an awesome device and would've been perfect if it had removable SD and battery.

        • can't disagree. But that's why i put 'GREY' in op.

    I know it's only $5 more saving. But hey it's OzB ;)

    • Thanks updated post.

Battery life is fantastic, beat Note 3 especially after Note 3 was updated with 4.4.2, think 32GB is okay without the microSD slot unless you really have a lot of things to put in.

    Really good device, good reviews

  • Isnt this the same For $368?

    Edit:
802 and 800, do you know what the difference is?

    • Google and Wikipedia was my friend:

      D800 - AT&T (GSM 850/900/1800/1900, UMTS 850/1900/2100, LTE 1900(2)/1700(4)/850(5)/700(17))
      D801 - T-Mobile
      D802 - International (GSM 850/900/1800/1900, UMTS 850/900/1900/2100, LTE 800/900/1800/2100/2600)
      D803 - Canadian

Now, does anyone know if the 800 will work here fine? My understanding from http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/4G_Australia is that 4G will only work with the Vodaphone Network using the D800, while the D802 should work everywhere?

  • This phone beats Nexus 5 and Note 3 almost everywhere, especially the camera and battery life.

    • Note 3 > LG G2 camera-wise.

      • I observe huge improvement of camera after the recent software update. In the past the autofocus was too slow and crap.

  • Yes it is a great phone. Very snappy, excellent battery life and great screen.

Few things to be aware of tho

    1. It needs a good protective case. Just fell off from 2 feels and screen is gone.

    2. If you are planning to put custom rooms, avoid the Australian model. It is almost impossible to put recoveries on this one (D802T).

    • Buy in Aus and you get free case (with window).

        • I'll sell you my unused window case for $50!
