    • +2

      NO dont do it!

      Resist! Resist! Resist!

      • +3

        I'm loving it

  • Got this one overnight in my Amex deals, thanks OP!

  • +1

    Please add in description something like AmEx issued cards (or non-Bank) only.

  • +6

    At first I was wondering how I could spend $15 at McDonalds, then I realised they aren't the same price they were when I last got a feed there… used to get 2 big macs for $3 in 1995, feels like only yesterday.

    • +3

      So you haven't been to Maccas in last 19 years!? So you were like what, cryogenically frozen?

      • +3

        Only for a soft serve. Went vegetarian and they don't really offer much outside of breakfast time.

        • -1

          well being a vegetarian, you wouldn't eat their eggs anyway, would you? you know, being caged and all…

        • +3

          @erd: Yeh look it's a valid point that isn't really worth getting into here. I certainly don't buy caged eggs, and haven't ever had a maccas egg actually, though I imagine there might be some dehydrated caged egg in their pancake mixes…

        • +2

          Being vegetarian I dont think you should touch the soft serve. Isnt it made from pig fat or something?

          Can anyone confirm?

        • +1

          @Turd:
          That's a massive myth that has been debunked multiple times…
          Including by maccas themselves, just google it.

        • @Greenspoon: oh okay. ahh still good to scare people with it. Maccas isnt exactly good for you.

        • @erd: Caged eggs? That's taking it a bit too far.

      • +1

        Haven't had a Whopper, Big Mac or Cheeseburger ever.

  • Awesome deal,thanks! How many times I can use this deal? Once?

    • yeah once.

  • -4

    I can't see these offers…

    • +18
      • No, it seems to be only certain AMEX cards.

        The offers are not showing up for me.

        • Team or mega on you other parts

    • +7

      maccas = junk food
      jv = junk vood

      I can't see this offer as well, I have a non bank issued Qantas American Express card. Yet, I can enroll from the enrollment link up the top.

      I haven't been able to see any new offers for the last few weeks that have been posted on OzBargain… originally thought I might have been too late to these deals but looks like it might be something else?

    Thanks ! saved.

  • Wanting to know any charge to use Credit Card in McDonald or KFC? Thank you.

  • If i'm just by myself. what should I buy that makes up $15? i'm not a big eater. an expensive meal is like $10 then how can I spend $5? 6 pack nugget?

    • Same question here, what's worth $15 to buy in MCD? I only buy $2 loose change menu and $0.30 cone.
      50 Ice cream cones?

      • +1

        You obviously don't have kids…

      • +2

        Stock up until next deal. I've heard it goes fine without a fridge for months years.

    • If you aren't a big eater and want to get to $15, what about some cake or a muffin from a McCafe and take those away with you for later?

      It won't make up $5 alone, but I don't mind the Apple Pies as a desert.

      • +1

        Had to be in the same transaction. Cafe is at a different counter.

        • +1

          Some shops
          * have a combined counter
          * don't staff McCafe after business hours and you can order form the main counter.
          * discount their McCafe items after business hours!

    Use it at Mt Colah McDonalds this Saturday! The store is donating 10% of its profits to help this student with bone cancer.

  • excellent!
    i've been waiting for ages for a maccas binge since the last credit offer drools uncontrollably

    I don't know whether this is a tip as such but it may be of use to someone:

    1. Download the Amex app for the iPhone here:

    https://itunes.apple.com/au/app/amex-au/id418350340?mt=8

    1. Input your Amex card details into the app

    2. Whenever there is a deal, rather than wondering whether your card is eligible or not simply open the app and scroll down slightly - all deals show up here and you can 'save' them to your card

    3. IMPORTANT - save EVERY offer. Why? For some weird reason it won't show up NEW deals until you save (and thereby 'clear') OLD deals. I didn't see some of the best deals recently because I didn't realize you had to do this.

    • +2

      Is there an ANDROID app?

      • +1

        No there isn't. There is one for selected customers in the US but that's it.

  • Supplementary card nothing at all

    • "Supplementary Cards qualify as an Eligible Card only if registered for the Offer separately. Cards issued by Westpac Banking Corporation and Commonwealth Bank of Australia only need to register for the Offer once by using either their primary card or supplementary card. Spend on either Card is counted as eligible purchase and credit will be posted to the Primary Card Account once the spend criteria is met."

      may be useful…
