$30 off HelloFresh Food Boxes

11
HFCOFFEE

Not sure when this expires, but I saw it and thought that was a pretty good saving.

Looking at the website it seems you need to subscribe to boxes, however there are a few one-time delivery boxes for $74 - so you could effectively almost halve that price I guess?

My brother is subscribed to HelloFresh. They send ingredients and a recipe on a piece of paper and charge him triple what the ingredients could be bought for from a supermarket. It works for him because his family are lazy, but seriously HellFresh doesn't belong on a bargains website

  • I've used this stuff before. It's all pretty good quality food, no complaints thus far. Pretty sure to use the coupons you need to sign up to a full proper box order, not a trial.

You receive an order on a Tuesday, you can cancel your next week's subscription anytime before midnight of the Wednesday. Super easy to do on the website, so easy enough to cancel after one week if that's all you want.

This "deal" is a dime-a-dozen - you can find them as little cards handed out in train stations, attached to magazines, or heaven-forbid - as a referral from an existing member (although their policy doesn't allow codes to be listed on websites like OzBargain - so the Wiki page that used to be here got deleted).

$30 off for new subscribers is their standard operating procedure - you'd be a chump if you signed up without it. There's really no deal here.

That's no criticism of the service itself. If you're lazy and don't mind paying a huge markup for convenience, there's really nothing much wrong with HelloFresh. The recipes and ingredients were of generally high quality back when I used it (although I heard it varies by region).

  • These boxes are excessively marked up so its not really a bargain
