    • Thanks for that! Navman not a bad deal :
      http://www.dicksmith.com.au/in-car-navigation/navman-my400lm…

      • Good price on the Navman! Bought one. Came to just under $100 with delivery.

    • How do you do a search like that?

      • +1

        Whoops, missed this, sorry.

Their search allows you to set a price range and also restrict to a category. The search criteria and display options are set in the URL.

        For example:
        isort=price & af=price%3a[9900%2c12500]%20f & cnt=20

sorts by price, sets a price range of $99-$125 (in cents) and displays 20 items per page.

        • Thanks

Discount code doesn't work with this (Huawei G526)

    http://www.dicksmith.com.au/prepaid-mobile-phones/vodafone-h…

    • +4

Is there any possible chance that the "VODAFONE Huawei Ascend G526 Pre Paid" would be classified as a prepaid mobile product and thus excluded as per "Excludes … Prepaid Mobile Products" ?

      • Thanks for the clarification.

    • +1

      Prepaid mobile phones are excluded.

      • Thanks for the clarification

Seagate Expansion 2TB Desktop Hard Drive USB 3.0: http://www.dicksmith.com.au/usb-hard-drives/seagate-expansio…

Seems pretty good for $74 delivered.

Note: is desktop, not portable (requires mains power)

    • What kind of drive is inside that thing, Samsung or Seagate?

Good deal. Unfortunately they put up the price of the item I'm watching from $109 to $149 overnight just as this offer became available. On the eBay site where this code can't be used it's still $109.

    • +1

Now the price has gone up from $109 to $149 on the ebay site in preparation for tomorrow's "20% off"

Good discount but you have to be careful with some products and compare prices.

    Looks like WEEKEND25 expired.

If their website wasn't so goddam awful I'd have placed my order by now. It was valid when I started checkout.

[EDIT] nope its just their buggy site. If I start without logging in and add the coupon it works but when I get to login it loses the discount and then won't accept it as valid.

If I login first then add items to my basket and try to apply the code I get:

"Coupon code "WEEKEND25" is not valid."

What a total PITA. Who tests this stuff?

I will have to order and checkout as a guest I suppose.

    • They stated it was limited to the first 500 customers only, so it wouldn't have lasted too long.

      • If you read my post again it wasn't actually expired just not working if you login to an existing account. I was able to order and use it as a guest.

        • +1

Okay so why the negs? If anyone actually read the whole of my post I explained how the code isn't working if you login and try to use it. I thought this would be helpful information.

          I won't bother again.

How about the GoPro Hero3+ Silver edition @318 + $5 delivery. Is that normal price or bargain?

  • +2

3 times i have ordered the extraordinary deals from them, everytime i get an email next day that my order has been cancelled. Call center in Philippines is useless.
Never buying anything online from these guys

    • Treat it like a lottery with better than usual odds, and set your expectations accordingly. I think it's worth the gamble at times. Just don't have very high hopes.

I just bought DGTEC 10" tablet for $99 - $25 = $74. Rather than pay $4.95 delivery, also bought these $4.98 ear plugs with free delivery, to get whole order as free delivery. Is that good OzBargain style? :)

kindle paperwhite at $136 is a great deal.

  • Ended up with this today:
8gb usb stick (free shipping , thus the postage & handling for all my order was FREE) - so i saved $16 off the price if you want to get pedantic over the $9 usb stick (but still $25 off in my eyes)
    http://www.dicksmith.com.au/emtec-8gb-c400-usb-drive-black-d…

FREE SHIPPING ON below due to usb stick above … plus it comes with FIFA which ill try to sell for $70 thus only cost me $63 for both items delivered….
    http://www.dicksmith.com.au/sony-2-1ch-soundbar-htct60bt-dsa…

    TLDR:
133 free delivery … The free item negates shipping

  • Is this worth getting?
    http://www.dicksmith.com.au/in-car-navigation/navman-mivue35…
comes down to $85 if picking up.
