I can absolutely guarantee they do not. Amazon have a huge range of watches (Invicta and Stuhrling are other offenders) that are always on 'sale' at stupid discounts to imply value
I won't crap on these, but I'd much rather have a Seiko 5 or save for something nicer.
Can confirm, was 'given' an Invicta watch as a gift several years ago.
It is an absolute joke.
It looks nice sure, but it is a poorly engineered GINORMOUS mechanical watch.
It must weigh close to 250g and is massive and uncomfortable and basically fails to be wearable/functional in any way.
Amazon didn't bump up the price. The price is set ridiculously high by the Chinese owned company so they can have 90% off sale at all time to imply value that isn't there.
Not Swiss and not legendary.
Fugly watches. Note that at 47mm it's not for skinny wrists. Save your cash. Don't forget to add delivery.
Looks ok for the price
Just ordered one - $76 aud with 9-11 day delivery to Melbourne.
Does anyone know if and where you can get replacement bands from?
If you are buying a watch today, you have two reasons:
- Style. Anything that has a battery in it violates this one.
- Functional. You can dive/fly with it.This one doesn't meet any of the above, so…
Does no battery require more expensive maintenance/servicing than a battery powered watch?
Yes. A mechanical (hand wound) watch needs to be opened and serviced every 3-10 years (depends on who you ask, and if they're trying to make money off you). Will cost a minimum of $100 and often a lot more
This is a quartz movement, so all you do is replace the battery. If something is wrong with it, it goes in the trash.
Well in that case, I'd rather pay for batteries. Screw style. I don't dive or fly either, so ocoolio's elitism doesn't apply to me.
I think you need to fix the link.
Anyways, had a look at these few days ago. Not sure if they really retail at that price or did Amazon bumped it up to look like they're premium swiss watches
