  Careful. There's no gigabit-Ethernet on this thing, so you'll be limited to 100mbit for any transfers between wired and wireless.

  802.11ac should still provide some beamforming advantages and better wireless-wireless speed.

  Cheap way to get into the AC router space but this is the slowest AC speed and also as mentioned there is no gigabit Ethernet.

  My brother recently got an AC modem router from iinet for a similar price, but I believe the features were better as it had gigabit Ethernet, USB ports for file sharing and a dlna server.
