This price is quite low. I missed out last time even though i went to the shops at 10. Gonna have to camp outside the store before they open tomorrow.

I would never buy Castrol Edge at those prices but at $30, I think its very good value.
edge used to be $35 and thats ok but there's questions about the quality of this synthetic oil
i hear the volkswagen boys hate it
they used to have Helix Ultra for under $30 and that is a better oil but we are talking high end stuff here (ie. Porsche 911 oil)

5w-30 was $29.99 5 years ago, taking CPI into consideration then it's cheaper now.
Yep, the last 5 years or even the last couple of years, things have gone up and way above inflation.

Sure. Not the 15W40 maybe, but either of the others. Or a 10w40, or a 10w30. It really doesn't matter that much.
Its not what GMH specify, but the Castrol website says it is Ok.
And 130Mm is not much for a Falcodore.
Are the gold ones full synthetic?
The screenshot indicates them to be Full Synthetic.

I wish they had the magnatec included in this.
I don't like to pay more than $20 for my oil since I change it every 5-6000km.
I also think edge isn't fully synthetic. Or at least not a true synthetic oil.
It's not but if you're doing it every 5-7.5k km then much of a muchness really.
It's nice to know how much they are making during regular price. Nice for them anyway.
Who pays full retail for them anyway? Chances are, they won't be on OzB and are the types that get ripped $20/L by the stealers.

its their policy to price match. The last castrol edge special at repco i picked up at SCA, they had no issue and even mentioned that it was a great price and intended to get a couple bottles themselves lol

Mate doesn't have Repco near him so went to SCA and they sold him @ $28.50 a bottle. Why are there differences in price with their price beat policy?
why didn't they have this on a few weeks ago when i was going to change my engine oil!? anyways, Castrol oils are crappy - that's what a mechanic friend of mine said.
He must be one of those 80's or 90's mechanic still telling the same story, technology have changed a lot mate, it's a damn good oil for that price.
