Local warranty worth a lot to me because of the high fail rate
of hard drivers.Just open chat with amazon rep and they arrange postage refunds…. When you send an item back at your expense for warranty

it sounds like the only difference is one comes with backup software and the other doesnt.So the extra $$$ is for the software.
