I bought one of these but with the turbohead from Harvey Norman for $325 about 4 months ago. It was ticketed at $350 but seems like the price has gone back up to $499? http://www.harveynorman.com.au/vacuum-laundry-appliances/vac…

These are much better than any dyson but don't tell that to the dyson fanboys because they get a bit narky having just spent 3x as much :)

    • Why has the price gone up? I just bought one today from harvey norman for $500

    • Oh. That was a good price. Could you upload the receipt so that I can do the price match?

      • Sorry I got ahead of myself, wasn't the same model.

    • Was that S5211 model? http://www.harveynorman.com.au/vacuum-laundry-appliances/vac…

I want to buy a Miele Vacuum but I don't know $349 is the good price to buy?

        • Thank you very much for that

        • @BTB:

No worries. Took this pic back then as well. Maybe they had a sale on at the time i'm not sure.

We've have the S5211 for a couple of years now and wife still loves it. Will never go back to Dyson.

        • We have the S5211 also… been through the mill with vacuum cleaners, tried them all in the last 40+ years. I wish we had bought a Miele back then!
They work well and built to last a very long time.
Make sure you get a turbo head… don't pay the full price though :-)

  • I have exactly that model … bought for 312$ delivered while the 20% ebay deals where on (The Good Guys).

Pretty happy with it … nothing fancy … sucks up dirt pretty well :-) . I am impressed with the cord … that will roll up all the time right to the end and the vacuum is easy to pull along and "drifts" even sideways. Reasonable quiet in the eco mode.

    • Do you mean S8310 model? If so It was better than this. Do you have the receipt?

      • Yes … it was the S8310 …

As it was the 20% deal the receipt shows unfortunately 379$ (that was the price TGG sold in on ebay (+delivery) —- the 20% was deducted via the Paypal payment … https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/150374 )
