Bought one myself seems like a good deal for a full size back lit mx blue with macros.
Centre Com have it as part of their cyber weekend sale for $123
PC Case Gear = $125
MSY = $126

I was waiting for the G710+ to be on sale also I reckon this one looks nicer.
Mx blue = what to the layman?
Thanks that was very helpful.
Mx blue = what to the layman?
Loud and stiff. (What she said)
The most clickiest switch and the second highest actuation force of the Cherry switches.
So if I want one for typing on (I don't play games), what colour switch is the best for touch typing?
Go find a mechanical keyboard keytester - normally about $10.
No one can tell you what will be best for you.
You'd be looking at either browns or blues.
It depends on your typing style.
If you're a light fingered typist, you should look at the Browns. If you're a heavier fingered typist, you should look at the Blues.
Personally, I like Blues, they've always been my favourite. The Blues are pretty much the "classic" switch.
Other switches, e.g.Red and Black are more for gaming as they don't offer tactile feedback.
Any good reviews someone can link to? I'm not familiar with mechanical keyboards but was interested in getting one after using a friend's, only to find out they're not so cheap!
How does this keyboard/brand compare especially in regards to build quality and warranty?
Also what mechanical keyboards are generally favoured by the Ozbargain community?
Appreciate any help
Thanks
General reviews for this keyboard seem good, only found one that had multiple negatives.
Amazon reviews all positive.
Just ordered one, I hope its good.
After 4 days of checking back at this keyboard and going through 4000 reviews and the deal is still on, I've come to the conclusion that this is a sign from above and that I should no longer hold back.
Got one. The OzBargain gods have spoken.
This is such a momentous milestone in my life - I've lusted after a mechanical keyboard ever since the blackwidow was released so many yrs ago. I have a razer lycosa which just refuses to die, the lights would flicker on/off and it would freeze from time to time, but a couple of hard whacks on the table brought it back to life. Now the time has come for my lycosa… A new challenger awaits!
Just bought one. Was waiting for a special or price drop on the Logitech G710+ but that didn't seem to be happening so hopefully this is just as good.
