  • This or Samsung EVO 840?

    • This a much better SSD on almost all levels, but for a lower price the 840 evo is the leader of the middle class of SSD

      • hmm… the 500gb evo can be had for ~$258 US, has approx 20gb more storage, and according to reviews is faster than the sandisk in almost every test except for sequential read.

also in real world scenarios, most people aren't going to notice any difference in speed. i know i'd rather save $20 and get an extra ~20gb storage

still, ok i guess if you want the cutting edge stuff :)

  • +1

Both mlc and slc drives would last a normal adv windows user 5 plus years minimum even they write the drive 10gb a day.
Would sata format still exist in 5 years time, yes, but likely second rated, and pcs be running on chip(Pcb memories by that time and size of a small box…

So both drive would do well.

Mx100 sells for 220 usd, but has less software support
