FREE: 20+ Prints (15x10cm) at Kmart for $0 with In-Store Collect

2850

With this deal, there's actually no limit to the number of free prints you can get. Nothing stopping you getting 200, 300 or 400 free prints. Read on.

Please follow the steps below. Ignore any notes that suggest this offer is only valid if you choose the delivery option. Can be used multiple times by creating new accounts. There is no verification email that requires responding to.

  1. Click on this link
  2. Enter any name, address, email.
  3. Tick the 'I Accept the Snapfish T&Cs' box.
  4. Click the 'Get Started' button.
  5. At the welcome screen, click the 'upload photos' button.
  6. In the popup window, click 'select photos' and choose 50 photos from your hard drive.
  7. When finished, click on 'Order these prints for FREE' on the next screen.
  8. You will get a little popup screen. Select 'Go to Checkout'.
  9. Next screen shows a summary of your order. It should read $0.00 if you've uploaded 50 photos or less.
  10. Click 'Check out'.
  11. Select 'Pick up at store', and enter real postcode and a mobile number.
  12. On the next screen, select the store closest to you.
  13. You may get an option here to crop photos. Your call.
  14. On the next screen, confirm your order is still at $0.00 and select 'buy now'.
  15. The final screen confirms your order & pickup time.

If you want to have your photos delivered, at step 11 select the delivery option instead, but this will cost you $2.95 to have the 50 prints sent to your address.

And remember, you can use this method any number of times with different aliases. All you need to do is present the confirmation printout at the completion of your order to collect the photos. Here's a sample.

Good luck!

edit: link now says 20 free prints (was originally 50 then 30)

Assuming 15 x 10 is cm? Considering most photos sizes are in inches, maybe rectify this? Otherwise, great deal!

EDIT: Thanks for the downvote fellow stranger! /endsarcasm.
Thanks for editing the title though!

    • +2

+1 from me, there you go

      • Why thankyou kind sir!

    • +1

      Assuming 15 x 10 is cm?

+1 from me too. Thanks for the reminder. Title corrected.

    • +2

      15x10cm = 6x4 inches
this is the standard photo size.

50 free Prints is still awesome.

      Thank you OP

  • Apparently the first 60 are free.

    • It's 50 - it tells you at the next screen

I don't know why it says 60 Free on the upload screen

      • +1

I got 60 credits and ordered 60 free in one order.

    • +1

      Yep, 60

  • My local store asks for ID when collecting photos

    • +3

Tested this. No ID asked for. All I had to do was present the final screen printout which shows order number, order date, collect store, pickup time & phone number. Your name is not shown on that printout, so you could just be collecting for someone else I guess.

      Here's a sample http://files.ozbargain.com.au/upload/27551/24129/capture.jpg

      • If you don't receive an email from them, how can you be sure they're ready to be picked up?

        • +1

The 'ready for collection' date is on the final screen printout as above. Just rock up on the forecast date and they should be there.

Alternatively, be honest, provide a genuine email address & collect your 50 prints when you receive the email :)

        • TA - may want to mask out your sample receipt if that's your real mob # :-)

          great deal. thanks!

        • @smellfishy:

Hi smelly. Not my number. That was just a sample I used. Check the number out - all sequential digits :)

    • +10

Does being featured in the photos they just printed count as 'photo id'? :p

  • Crafty TA. Thanks

I find kmarts quality poor compared to Harvey Norman, it could just be my store…how about everyone else's?

Edit: The prints I got done in April went in the bin.

    • +2

I agree - The last lot I had done there had really odd colours. They offered a refund and I got them reprinted elsewhere. This was a few years ago though, but they were really bad - haven't been back since. At least this is a good way to try them out again, especially if they are printed by snapfish not kmart.

    • +1

That's what I found as well. The quality is not satisfactory at all. I'll pass even though it's free.

      • +1

Fuji BigW are much much better quality I've found than snapfish. Still you can't complain about 50+ free prints.

    • +2

Yes, Kmart print dry not wet lab. Not worth your time even if free. Personally, I use Artscow. Always been happy. They use Fijifilm paper archival quality which is actually lustre type (better than matte and gloss), but they call it "matte". When I print with them, I use their tick box for colour correction and have never gone wrong. Their prices are reasonable when considering the type of paper. Only thing to consider is that larger size photos come rolled up and you have to factor in flattening them out before framing. Also, shipping and processing is quick. I normally get orders for prints only within 1-2 weeks. Just did 3-4 orders for my wedding shots for the family and we were all very happy. Colours pop. As I had a large quantity, qualified for free shipping as over $20 (excludes 4x6, but i prefer 5x7 by default, SHIPPED20). The value was fantastic at 16c US per 5x7 Inc shipping for the quality. Now if only they would get a more professional name…

  • Thanks TA love ur Deals.

    • Can someone confirm whether snapfish print them and deliver to store or do kmart just process these themselves using their equipment?.

      • +1

Kmart printed my last lot from snapfish

      • +1

If it is "Pickup in Store" then it is printed by Snapfish (e.g. 10c 4x6") and you pay online
If it is "Express Pickup in Store" then it is printed by Kmart (e.g. 15c 4x6") and you pay instore and they are ready 1 hour after you pay.

  • +1

if you have home made pr0n do they keep a copy and share it around? it's confidential right?

    • Depends if a Donkey is involved.

      • +5

Depends if Tight Ass is involved?

  • Be careful they don't come smudged and creased though!

  • Thanks OP!!

  • +1

Well I hope they don't fold the photos in half like in the other deal a while back haha. Much thanks TA anyway

Do you need to signup with a new e-mail address? or does it work with my existing account?

  • wow this is epic. even though i dont have no photos to print lol

    • +6
    • +2

Not having no photos, means you have photo's.

      • -1

yeh i know what a double negative is but proper grammar not used on the internetz

  • It says they won't be ready until July 31st. Is this just a placeholder date?

    • Earliest estimated pick up time:
      Prints: 08:00:48 PM Jul 29, 2014
Please wait to receive an order ready email before going to the store to pick up your order.

Hopefully they come earlier, but who knows?

  • can only upload 9 pics at a time!!!!!

    • I uploaded all at once, in full res

      • Managed to upload in one go.
For some reason if I had files in icon preview mode (Mac) then it would only do 9 at a time.
Changed to list view and it did the lot!!!

      That's ozbargain spirit

  • Thanks op, just this morning i was comparing prices for 6x4 prints. I have heaps of photos to be printed.

  • Thanks OP.

  • Do you think they'd be pissed off (or even notice?) if you sent 60 jpg's just saying "Photo 1/60"…"Photo 60/60"?

Don't try that at home (or at Kmart)!

  • -2

Do you have to provide photos at the same time? Can I get offer added on the account for later use?

  • done & thanks

  • thanks OP.

  • +1

    send business cards for printing..

  • Thanks OP..

  • +2

I got 60 copies of George from Seinfeld.

    • +2

      You. I like you.

    • No photo's for you!

  • when it will expire?

    • +2

      1828 clicks

      Winter is coming.

  • Thanks OP Just followed steps.

    • You'll like this then, although it looks like you've already done 5-8…

  • Nice, cheers for that!

  • I didn't get "When finished, click on 'Order these prints for FREE' on the next screen."

Is this foe new customers only?

    • Yup. Try a new email id.

  • Retailers may charge a handling fee for orders picked up at stores

Any idea how much this could be? Kmart don't charge this?

    • Go ahead and ask them.

      • What I can find on the Kmart website here and here is that handling fees only apply to "mail delivery".

  • Use any random email id. It will not not send confirmation email on id. ;)

  • +1

Fairly sure there's no way on a store level the employee could tell between this offer and a paid snapfish. Goes through the same system as the HP photo center prints.

    • last time there was a free 50 photo promo. My photos were never printed. Checked with the store, 1 month and 2 months after they were ordered. Nothing, then I gave up.

  • seems they've changed it to *30 free prints

    • +2

I just did it and got 60 free.

  • How long is this offer available for?

  • Thanks TA just tried it out and the order seemed to go thru OK. Although you need to use an email as it says you will receive email confirmation when photos are in store. I've got a few emails so im going to just setup accounts for all.

  • I've been doing a few sets (and choosing to send for $2.95), but I just checked my netbank, and each transaction resulted in a $2.95 charge AS WELL as a random $1 charge from same company (PENDING - Hewlett Packard - Snap Blackburn ,0722)

Anyone have any idea why they charge this extra fee, and why it does not show in my invoices??

    • +1

Usually $1 charges for things are pre-authorisation charges when you use a debit/credit card and should be refunded after a couple of days

  • +1

my first few orders are showing shipped now, but all the later ones are still in "process" status. How's everyone's order going? I raised all my orders on the same day, in the space of 12 hours.

    • I sent thru 3 orders within about 2 hours and 2 have come thru and said they are ready for collection. One is still pending. It said they would all be done by the 29th at the latest.

  • Are there certain sizes of pics/snapped at ideal resolutions that look better in those size pics on offer for the free prints?.Its trying to charge me if i try for more than 30 prints…

  • got mine today. paid for delivery.. cheaper than the fuel to get to kmart.
    can't complain

  • its only 30 free prints now…. :(

  • Got mine today too!

They're printed by FujiFilm, done in a factory (not in Kmart, where I picked mine up).

  • on the receipt says 29th of July but still not ready yet…

  • I got 60 for free. Cheers OP!!

  • Is this still going?

Anyway just picked up mine today, thanks TA!

  • +1

    Just picked up 2 batches…

The colours on them were terrible, one was too dark and the reds really stood out… the other batch all the colours were muted and dull…

I'm glad it was free… won't be using them again!

    • Some of my batches were abit dark and dull… but most otherones were preety good.

      • Just got some done at Harvey Norman (9cent sale), they were a lot better than snapfish/kmart.

Though still not perfect, I guess for that price you can't complain.

The awesome screens in our phones and computers make everything non-professional look like crap…

    • Not bothering with printing like this again. Such poor quality.

  • now says only 20 :(

    https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/129801 is still 50 :)

  • Somehow now its letting me print 60 again… but during sign up it says 50… odd.

  • I used a random name and email, then when I went to pick them up, the guy asked for my name. I completely forgot what name I made up. He didn't give the photos to me :(

    • +3

Homer: Hello my name is Mr Burns, I believe you have a letter for me..
Post Office Guy: Ok Mr Burns, what's your first name?
      Homer: I.. don't know..
