Considering how terrible Dick Smith online is, I'd prefer to pay for Kogan, even without the extra year warranty.

Even when Ebay/Sick Smith ;) had the big sale a couple of weeks ago, i had both the things i ordered within a week (so maybe faster than Kogan ;) and yes i have ordered from Kogan HK before.

Yeah, I know people have different experiences with the same company, but they are hardly easy to deal with for a lot of people.
Its $726 from Dick Smith for 2 years of warranty or $627.98 with 1 year warranty. So $98 for a years warranty, in a years time I wonder how much the S5 will be worth and if how much a repair would cost?
That $98 seems like a large bet for a low possible return, I don't think they cover batteries failing with use, so after a year the battery will not be covered. I don't think it is worth it.
yes you may save 90 dollars or so and have to wait sometimes up to 2 weeks. and no, not a low return rate, phones have plenty of problems because they dont undergo years of testing. ive had iphones with defects, and s3, 3 note 2s with problems. 3 week turnaround for an RMA is very annoying.
had issue with kogan for an s3, basically 3 month turnaround resolution due to miscommunication.

What has happened is DSE made a mistake and instead of putting the price up before the sale to $896 to counter act the $70 sale, they put it down to $796 which makes it $726 with the $70 off.
Absolutely dodgy - even if they made a mistake I don't think they're allowed to up the price to counter-act a sale.
Does anyone have a screenshot of the $726 price? Thinking of submitting a price protection claim to my CC provider.

When I tried to purchase one it was in the middle of being changed from $796 to $896, unfortunately I didn't get a screen shot but i'm not impressed.
Can also get an iPad Air 32gb wifi delivered for $578. I couldn't add the deal viewing the mobile site - had to click desktop site.
