This isn't seriously this weeks free sample is it? Next week a coupon for online viagra, the week after a free email from a Nigerian Prince….

No offense to the OP but I think any freebie that requires a credit card shouldn't be classed as a freebie.

Yes, it's rubbish alright. My GF didn't throw me out for the last sample (miracle). Pinch Me is a bit of a dud site I reckon.

      • +1

Wait, were you hoping she would throw you out, making PinchMe a winner site?

        • No, that the sample was a wierd and potentially dangerous thing to get (lady garden cleaner).

        • @wfdTamar: I sent mine to my brother, his reaction to it was well worth the price of admission :)

          @rekabkram:

I sent mine to my boss…

    • a tiny sample of biore deep pore cleanser today

  • The T&C on the linked page suggest that after free trial, it will cost $29.9 per month but your description says $9.99 p/m. Which one is correct?

    • +1

It starts from 9.99 but this one will cost you 29.99

    • yeah, there's about a zillion trial promo codes out there

      • Any that I don't have to enter CC details in? Long shot but worth asking

Nope, they operate on people's complacency. It's the gym business model of bringing you in for a free trial, you use it for 3 weeks and then get billed for 2 years until you crack the shits and cancel it.

        • +3

@rekabkram: you just reminded me. I must cancel my sons and my gym membership. Haven't been for 2 months.

  • It's not the current PinchMe offer, it's just a spruiking email through them. Ignore it.

  • wouldnt touch Quicflix with a 10ft pole …. another company that has the same business morality of ebay.

    • Funny you should mention eBay. The #1 complaint about them is fee hikes, yet Quickflix has done the exact opposite in that respect. Cost of my one disc plan went from $17.99 to $14.99 to $12.99 in the past few years. Subsequently upgraded to the two then three disc plan (which have also fell in price over time).

Ah, this is just like the $100 Myer gift card offered to members via the Wyndham Vaction Resorts BS.

Whats these DVD things they keep referring too?

The best option here is to use PayPal as the payment method instead of a credit card, as I did with another free trial.

Its better to use PayPal as you are in control and can cancel the recurring payment in your account rather than having to deal with Quickflix.
